Don't forget your theme for the Tailgate

What are you doing for the tailgate happy hour?

It can be as simple as a table cloth or more showy like a tent with decorations, flags, banners, whatever...

Themes;

Airstream memorabilia
Sports teams
Bands or other musical
Flamingo's, palm trees, tropical style

Fun....foods, drinks and a few decorations.

Our tailgate theme, "The Ocean State". Our ideas are flowing..........soooooooooooooooo we won't let anyone slow us down now!

The tailgate theme can be quite simple.
  • a state
  • ethnic background
  • favorite hobby
  • favorite sport
  • favorite music
  • Vintage AS collector
Come on folks........let's have fun, keep your team spirit and support our Region 1 family.

And..........hurry hurry get your registrations in, as it's not to late to register for this fun event.

See you all soon!

Gail

I was just thinking about the wash-water situation. has anyone got one of those portable mascerator pumps? If there were one of those available, we could shuttle blue-boys to the restroom facilities, and pump 'em out there. IIRC, the unit bought a big 4-wheeler towable blue-boy for last years rally....

OMG, I just noticed the lack of shorts showing....I don't think we have to go that far, do we? Yikes!

LOVE the tie dye, I was thinking Jimmy Buffet and Margueritaville, but the tie dye is just awesome. Hmmmm.

LOVE the '60's-70's Hippy Theme....I just might have to change my plans!

As for your hair, bouffant and all, you will need to be in generator for sure to power up your hair dryer and curling iron....Or just use orange juice cans as rollers and let dry on it's own....Do you remember that???? I think I am a bit older....

Too bad...

Too bad we just cleaned our closets out this Spring....I remember some tie dye tee shirts....

I remember...platform shoes, no shoes, Dr. Scholls, dark rimmed glasses, granny glasses, incense, candles, bell bottoms, hip huggers, halter tops, macrame, leather belts.....I am a little fuzzy on the remembering...and forget the comment that "if you were there you wouldn't remember"...

Ohhh, the appetizers; onion dip and chips, deviled eggs, lots of jello salad things, maybe the food wasn't so great....spam, bologna and cheese...Sloe Gin, Tab, Fresca

What do you remember?
