That's March 28 to April 2, folks.

Seriously, this is a bargain rally. The rally price was reduced to burn off some of the excess in the Region 9 coffers so that the IRS stays off the region's back. The charges are also adjusted to how many nights you can attend to better serve working folks.

Last I heard, there were only 40-some folks signed up for the rally. The usual R9 rally is at least 3 times that many rigs.

Abilene is a neat city and I expect to have a lot of fun there as well as giving a couple of seminars.

John, thanks for the correction, my bad. I didn't realize till the next day I had put Feb 2 instead of April 2.

James and I are planning to attend. I have the registration form filled out and ready to send today. I believe there are two other AS also coming. I have school till 3pm Tuesday so we will be arriving late Tuesday night. Hope to meet lots of new people.

Don't feel bad. I once gave a schedule presentation to two IBM Vice-Presidents and had the previous year on half of my dates. Talk about a red face.

Down to a few day till we head out to the rally. We are excited and looking forward to meet new Airstreamer's.

It looks like about 80 rigs will attend. Well down from the last few years. Our Unit President had to cancel due to an injured leg.

We are going as far as Hamilton Sunday and spend a while with friends, then on to the rally Monday morning with a parking time of 10:30. With the low attendance, parking times aren't terribly important.

Worst thing is only 2-point hookups and no periodic dump outs. We can make the week if we conserve. Rather than face a long line at the dump station Sunday morning, I figure on dumping as we come through Hamilton on the way home.
