John, Thank you. I think I'm going to like being an AS'er. I forgot to mention, all three of us ladies are very fit and strong. We are able and willing, but just may not have all our ducks in a row, so to speak. Also, there are many kinks to work out on a new trailer and we have a large learning curve to overcome. I will feel safer 'amongst' a group of 'know it all's', and will be better able to relax and enjoy the event. I hope my other two friends agree to the rally. I believe it will be an exciting time.

Tom.....

Ocean Lakes has about 800 sites with nearly a mile of beach front. No matter which site you get, it is only steps away from the Ocean.

All sites are level pull thrus, and all but a few have concrete pads. All have water, sewer, 20/30/50a power, wifi. The roads are paved.

It is an awesome glamping facility for beach lovers.

Good Morning. It is looking good for our attendance to the MB Rally. I'm excited. Dates of Rally being 25th-29, how does that work? What day should we arrive/check in and what day would we plan on checking out for the full Rally events, no extra days?

You can come the whole week (April 22 – 29) at the rally rate for your campsite. Extra days before or after that are between you and the campground.

We will have a welcome reception on Wednesday evening, April 25, so try to arrive that day and get registered. At registration you will get the schedule of all the rally events.

Randy

Thanks Randy, it is clear now we should arrive Wednesday afternoon, the 25th, to check in & register for the Rally. I am still confused, though, when we "check out" or the last full day of the Rally. Is the Rally over Saturday at end of day, meaning everyone will pull out for home Sunday morning? Knowing this will help us plan our time and flights for friends returning home to Texas, who are flying in specifically for this trip in the AS with me. We'd like to stay for the full event but cannot stay extra days. Please clarify last full day of Rally. Thanks.

I got it figured out. Called and made my reservation and the nice Lady, Nicole, explained the checkout date and how it all works. Thanks to all for the help and look forward to meeting my 'new family'.

Region 3 rally

Sandlapper are there any plans to hold a parts sale/swap? If so I have a variety of 70's and 80's parts that might be useful to those doing repairs/remodeling.

Hey, John,
We're registered in one of the HH sites. There will be a number of the Unit 149 folks coming, too. Looking forward to warmth. Will will travel to Arizona for the month of March, and get back to come down to R3.
