I've mailed in our registration (and check) for the 2006 Region One Rally!
We will be there for the entire week, taking advantage of early parking to do some sightseeing in the beautiful New Hampshire Seacoast and Lakes areas.
I'm also expanding on my lighting theme for next year (we were at the Scout Out Rally where we did a mini version of the Grand Illumination contest). I had thought I went all out in regards to decorations but now know that I have some very stiff competitors! I've got a whole year to work on my plans so look out folks!

Looking for a WBCCI Unit filled with fun loving folks to camp and travel with in the New England area? Well, you've just found it:
bring your lights for our Grand Illumination Contest.
Now, I have to ask: will there be more than 3 amp electric to power the "Grand Illuminations"? Some people may take this literally and design a lighting effect which requires a nuclear power plant ... At the Quebec rally it was suggested to me that if I wanted to run 10 small "Airstream" Christmas lights (consuming perhaps 10 watts) I should be in the generator section.
Most sites at the Rochester Fairgrounds have 20 amp service so we should be able to light up the night sky without fear of blowing fuses.
well....we should double-check that w/ the hosts. We're going to be putting a lot more trailers in the same space we were in. I would imagine that some "sharing" will be required. and while the outlets I saw were all 20-amp, I couldn't see inside the supply box (locked), and have no idea if the 4 individual outlets on the pole were on dedicated circuits, or were sharing a circuit.

I had a cd made up in Quebec and I've been showing it around to friends and family. I can't wait to take it on the road and show it down at Pennwood next weekend. It brings a everytime I see it.
