Are there try outs for the polishing team? I've got my cyclo and have been buffing away. For such a small camper, it sure takes awhile to do!

We are very excited about R1R and seeing everyone again! Silvie is ready for the bike decorating and Harmonica lessons. It's fun to get her going and see how excited she gets to go out in the airstream. She's got it on her calendar and is counting downt he the days... (me too).

We still have to make the trip to Trade Joes for supplies. Can't go camping without some very stinky cheese


I'll be up on Sunday to drop off my rig and help set-up. See you there!

For those attending R1R, Does anyone have an apple running MAC OS X with a SUPERDRIVE? What I am looking for is someone who has iDVD and can burn DVDs off their mac. Sorry, no PCs allowed

can't help with that. But I will have a firewire equipped pc-laptop with a copy of Nero on it.

Sorry we can't help ya now, our MAC doesn't have the SUPERDRIVE, and it's not a laptop. But ask us again next rally.

It's 17" wide by 11.5" tall. I've put jump rings and jack chain on it so that it can but hung as is. You can also have the jump rings removed and get your local frame shop to make a frame for it.

Thanks.That's even larger than I envisioned.I think ticket sales will be brisque as that would be a great addition for any Airstream enthusiest.

Star Party
August 17, 2006 at 9:00pm

Fellow Region One Rally attendees please join us for a true Star Party!

What will be out that night:

• Jupiter and some of it's moons - Kids, Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system.
• Ursa Major (Big Dipper) - one of the stars that makes up it's handle is a double, double.
• Cygni, red variable star at or near its maximum brightness
• The International Space Station crossing the sky.
• We'll track a few satellites crossing above us.
• Andromeda Galaxy, our closest neighbor.
• Persied Meteor Shower - The peak of this meteor shower was August 12th, but there is a change we may see a few earth grazers.

There will be a few Telescopes available, bring yours if you have one!
