We are usually parked real close together at the region rallies, so........ it most likely would be a fire hazard. Couldn't imagine all our tin cans on fire.

Check the weather report. It's only in the 60s today and the long-term forecast is for 70s. Perhaps you'd like to bring your dog? She's a sweetie and my daughter loved her when we rallied last year.

We'll be coming from Montreal with our latest trailer, a 1963 Safari that we bought last month. We've been working on it practically everyday to get it ready.

La Mauricie National Park is a terrific place for a canoe or kayak. Plenty of lakes and waterways there. It's very close to Troi-Rivieres. I recommend it.

Welcome to Quebec
To RLuhr and Yukionna,
We were in Quebec from 7/27 through 8/10. (Montreal, Quebec City, CapChat, Rimouski, and the Gaspe'). In Quebec City we stayed in the TRANSIT BILINGUAL CAMPGROUND off exit 330. Nice place, one where the ownership required you to wait at the gate while each trailer had to be escorted, individually, to the campground site by a man in a golf cart. Nice place, though, regimentation aside.
They had ethernet for the travelers.
I haven't had time to review your itinerary, but if it is the old city as your destination, I can tell you what we enjoyed. I trip to the Ile d'Orleans, a ride which takes you forty + miles around the perimeter through six distinct parishes. A step back in time, unhurried. An ear of fresh corn, freshly steamed and buttered for a loonie, free cheese samples at the fromagerie, and an ice cream place at the eastern end of the Ile where they serve up that rich creamy fresh vanilla custard dipped in dark chocolate so thick you have to chew it.
A similar ice cream shop, La Chocalat Favoris in Le'vis, seems to be a popular stop with a waiting line at all times. Anorexic Airstreamer is an oxymoron.
Have a great time.
Chas.

If fires are allowed, then wood will no doubt be provided. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD! There are so many problems nowadays with invading species that it's probably illegal and certainly not worth the risk of importing some nasty little tree-killing critters. It has got so bad that the MNR is requesting that people don't even bring firewood up from southern Ontario into cottage country (which is only a two-hour drive north).Just my 2 pennies - P.

We are here!
GREAT caravan of 20+ rigs from the New England area pulled in today, wicked cool! We are now all hanging out in the "generator section" as we have a bit of grass to place our screen houses and tacky birds.
A group of us went downtown for dinner and have a wonderful feast at a sidewalk cafe. Others placed tables all around the rigs and enjoyed eating a meal together. Our Canadian hosts have been by to review our lighted birds and they think it's grand!
We hope that all of you who are still traveling to the event have a safe trip.

Here are a few photos of our caravan of 20 rigs. The first photo is at the first Canadian rest area after we all cleared customs. The second photo is the line queued up for entry into the rally location. The third photo is a shot of part of the parking area.
The weather during the day was cool in the low seventies with virtually no humidity. The evening temperatures are in the 50's. Nice sleeping weather!
P.S.
Chuck & Diane...wish you were here!
