Really looking forward to this adventure!
I have heard (but have not confirmed yet) that we Americans need a Passport to return to the United States. From what I've been told this is a U.S. rule, not a Canadian rule. We always travel with our Passports but this would be new rule for us on a return trip from Canada. I'll be checking out the "rules" in the next few days and will let folks know if Passports are really required.

They are not yet required for US citizens. For US citizens returning from Canada, the requirement to have a passport starts Dec 31, 2006. See http://travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc/cbpmc_2224.html

Hey A,
We/re bringing up an old riveted aluminum foot locker that Mark's mom had made when she was in Japan over 50 years ago. It's in great shape and looks like it just needs a little work to get the oxidation off. I'd love to have a little session with you on what I should do/use.

Wow! 25 Units signed up for the NE Express Caravan
Received an email from the leader of the New England Unit Express Caravan this morning saying we are up to 25 rigs! We will be leaving from a campground in Littleton, NH and heading up to Trois-Rivieres on August 24th for early parking at the rally site.
This will be our first caravan (a mini one, but still a caravan!). Too cool!

Is anyone taking a generator with them??
As a point of interest..
I just picked up a Honda UV3000 generator to use during this trip..
I need to get familiar with all of it's operating requirements.

We are bringing our generator with us just in case we need it. I think we have the same one that you mentioned. We bought it for the Scusset rally and it worked well (once we remembered to put the gas in it)

We are still waiting for ours to arrive we have the new Yamaha 2400i with the propane conversion coming. We hope it's here by then, they said they were shipping it out last week, but I've heard that before from them. We can only hope.

Should we bring ours?
There will be "limited electric" at the Trois-Rivieres Fairground. I'm thinking that means our batteries will be charged, is this right? Leon installed an inverter in "The Tube" two years ago and we run his C-Pap machine, our LCD TV and satellite receiver with it and he also just finished installing Fantastic Fans which will run while on batteries. I thinking the only things we won't have are the AC and the Microwave. Our Honda 2000EU isn't big enough to run the AC and I rarely use the Microwave (mostly use it to store potato chips in) so I thought we would reduce the weight we carry by leaving the generator home. Am I missing something?
Oh, I guess I would not be able to light my tacky birds or my tacky awning lights. May need to rethink the generator thing.....

We just got a second EU2000 with the parallel kit. It works really well. We are planning on bringing them.

Wow, what a caravan
Maybe we can get a shot like this one of the NE Express Caravan to Trois-Rivieres! This photo is from the Sierra Nevada Airstream Memories website.

It's makes the best bread box . I throw whatever I don't have room for in the cabinets and it seems I always end up using it as a chip and bread storage box.
US Carb has promised to get back to me today about my generator so I'm hoping that we will be bringing it with us. I would like to try it out while we have everyone around.
Also,if we are in a hot spell of weather and are parked on asphalt it might get a little hot. Decided to put Griffin in a kennel in Littleton, NH on Wednesday morning so that we won't have the worries of heat and leaving him behind when we go out touring.
