You will be able to easily figure out who I am as we won't be arriving until Saturday morning and we will be coming with both our trailers! We have "lent" our 2002 trailer out to a couple who aren't towing any longer; our "new" 1964 Bambi II will be parked in vintage, of course.

See you all soon!

The trailer is in pieces at the moment but we are working toward having it put back together in time for the Region One rally.

1) All wheels are removed; I just finished painting the rims a flat black. We are searching for "dog bowl" or "baby moon" hubcaps (I've posted a separate thread for those).
2) Purchased and installed three new tires
3) Brian is repacking the bearings this week
4) First cut of polishing is 1/2 done; we expect to have the first cut completed for the rally
5) We need to purchase a battery; electrical has already been tested and everything works fine
6) Window/door gasket replacement in progress
7) Need to order vulkem for sealing the leak in the bathroom vent stack and top vent

Worst case scenario...we will bring the trailer and not hook up but will use coleman lanterns, sleeping bag, port-a-potty, etc. I think I remember how to do all that!

With regards to the rendevous...no, we aren't going to the rendevous -- I'm assuming you are referring to the George Horne rally.

cool! good to hear things are moving right along. but if the electrical is all working....why not hookup? of course, a coleman lantern haning on a hook outside adds to the vintage ambiance.

yep, that's the rendezvous to which I referred. is ANYone going?

just found out my water pump is busted been scurrying around trying to find a repair part locally...no time to wait for mail order. I found what I needed at a marina in Gloucester.

Is Mandolin Dave and his Trailer park bluegrass boys going to be at this one?

Is he even a member of Region 1? I think he's in Jersey.

I was at the Region 1 website a week or so ago. Looks like a fun and active gang.

That pasture for the Old Fashioned Summer Rendevoux sure looks inviting. White Mountains if I recall.

Should we be receiving info?

I have not received any confirmation on registration for the region 1 rally. Has anyone received anything yet? Do they send anything out? By the way, some people have asked about what your WBCI number is.. Mine is 1074

No, they typically don't send anything out. You should assume they received your check and just show up!

We may not be ready to hook-up for a couple of reasons. We haven't tested the shore line yet and we need a battery door. I don't want to install the battery without some kind of door over the opening.

I have numbers on my 2002 but am not planning on putting numbers on my 1964. On the '64, I will probably put my numbers on a clear lucite board to hang inside the rear/front window.

Rally update

Hi DEO,

Yes I did get confirmation from Sandy Sasuta (sandysas@aol.com) for my registration, but I had spoken to her on the telephone prior to mailing it in.

Per Sandy, the schedule of events is still being put together. I asked her for the schedule so I could post it here. She will update me, then I will post it.

Also, regarding the RED #'s, she said you don't have to place them on your trailor, some members put them on a sign, and hang them in their front windows of their AS.

Last but not least, I plan to make a poster of all the forum members who posted here, ie(forum name, WBCCI #, and full name of AS owners). Once the schedule comes out, maybe we can plan a time to all get together.

Excited to meet everyone,
Gail
