Hey Eric
Eric,
Hope you make it over. I have your trailer's older brother - a 74 trade wind 25'. This will be our first time using it ever as I bought it in October and have been working on it ever since. I figure even though we're rookies, the Airstream will know what to do...
Gonna be a fun weekend!
Jim & Marguerite

Jim & Marguerite,
I am not sure when happy hour is but we plan to come up Saturday in the late afternoon, probably between 5 & 6. It will be interesting to see your 74.
We just got new foam for the twin beds and Gabriele has fabric for new curtains. We hope to take a maiden voyage in the local area towards the end of June.
See you there.
Eric

You all hear about the storm??
I just checked the Greenfield MA website, which is pretty close to where we are going to be tomorrow, and they are in a state of emergency because of the storm.
Anyone heard anything about North Adams?

No, except for Airstream travel I'm pretty sure the world ends at the New Hampshire border. I'll move outside of my box now and check the local conditions in North Adams, MA.

Things are great here Gail - no storm, perfect weather. A really nice campground too. See you tomorrow!

Awesome news! I now do not need to move outside of my box.
See everyone tomorrow!

Fun, fun, fun! We are having an informal open house today so I should be shoveling out the interior of "The Tube" instead of surfing on Airforums. But I'll get to it.
Lots of folks have gone on a walking tour this morning of the town of North Adams and will then be heading to Mt. Greylock State Reservation. Yesterday a large group of us enjoyed Natural Bridge State Park and North Adam's famous 4 1/2 long railroad tunnel and museum. There is lots to see and do here, I'm glad the hosts selected this area.

Thanks everyone!
What a great weekend we had! It seemed like everyone was having as much fun as I was - thanks everyone for coming! The campground was really nice, wooded and rustic, quiet but in a great location. The Berkshires have so much to offer, it would take many weekends to explore the area. Thanks to my co-hosts Pam, Chuck, Mary and Jon and everyone who was there - I thought it was a terrific time.

I shall require photographic evidence of this alleged "terrific time".

Hahaha! Once I unpack my trailer I'll upload my evidence.
Oh, my adult beverage dispenser was a big hit during Sunday night's Happy Hour.

The WDCU and NEU put on a great rally. Thanks to everyone who put in so much work, you made it look easy (I know it's not). Great food, great place and great people!

Airstream INVASION
We would also like to thank Pam, Chuck, Mary and Jon and Deborah for all of their efforts to plan and host our stay in the Berkshires. It is a very interesting part of Western MA and the world!
Did anyone spot the inter-galactic Airstream at MoCA? Very funny write up on this I will include later.
We also met a long time Airstream owner that bought his 61' trailer over thirty years ago and after a few uses it somehow ended up next to the toolshed. (?) I did my best to tell him that with some MAJOR work it could be out and about again. I do not think I was able to impress upon him just how long and how much it would cost to bring this trailer back, but we will give him a time line and a few numbers on what to expect.
"By the barn" finds are always fun and frightening at the same time.
