BTW, TimCan or Goins or anyone else traveling East from the great LA basin...

The Sands RV and Golf Resort oasis said there are plenty of open sites for tomorrow
so if anyone wants to spontaneously join us without a reservation, DO!

We're set up, but I'll have to move the rig tomorrow for more solar...Sign is up, follow the PINK to the shiny things...just to add a bit of confusion, there is an Airstream across the road, but we're on the south side(RIGHT HAND SIDE).
Artstream just pulled in, and is settin' up...should have the firepit emptied this evening(never been emptied, just added more rocks on top of the old ones...finding melted glass, hardware store's worth of nails/fasteners/clamps,
batteries, tin cans, foil...hey, wait, that sounds like a dump...
OK, we're still waitin' for you folks.

Jan was able to make some arrangements and all of us will be at the rally. We plan to arrive late morning Friday. Someone get me a T-Time in Q-Town. I dropped some cash today and bought a trophy for the winner of the Q-Town open. The way I see it, I have the tropy now, who is going to challenge me for the cup?

I will be bringing "Yolf" which is a yard golf game.

There are extra large clubs and balls which are especially handy whilst beveraging...

Just finished another campfire...stars are incredible, all sites are really pretty flat, and the campfire ring(- about 70 lbs of ash and previously described stuff) is about 5 feet in diameter...bring LOGS(rounds), and think 'Yule'...
...OK, FINAL touch-up directions...DO not turn at the 112 mile marker campground...this is Hi Jolly, and you'll get lost...you want the next right turn, marked, in advance, Plamosa Road(white-on-brown) and Bouse Community Park(white-on-green), which is about 7-9 1/10 of a mile past mile marker 114, really simple after that...1 1/2 miles till you blindly see the pink-on-white 4CU sign, which is about 1.5 miles on that paved road(east)...there are a pair of short, white stakes with pinkk(Fluorescent)
paint at the tops to guide you until your possibly myopic sight will discover the multiple shiny aluminum fuselages past that...if you want parking directions, please be patient, as JimMini will have already arrived, and will(hopefully) have constructed beverages with response-time inhibitors...
The initial parking plan is to semi-circle(or circle) the wagons, with the fire ring in the center...don't have a game field plan, other than to put it OUTSIDE and AWAY from the aluminum...
Notes to note...
1.) No dumpsters out here, tho' I can make trash runs to the south, with my LTVA pass
2.)No dump facilities nearer than Q, and No water facilities nearer than Q...my pass will NOT get other rigs through the LTVA gates. There is a one-stop business(RV PIT STOP, on the right as you are headed north out of town on 95) that will let you dump, fill(bring a filter), and load up propane...$10 for dump/fill, and I believe $2.75/gal for propane...welcome to $uartzsite...
You should not have to stop at the Plamosa Rd check-in station for a permit, as I have already secured one for the group...if you do stop for directions, they know we are here and coming, but we're still 1 1/2 miles east(right) off of 95, and, well, read the posts, and print them NOW, or PM me for my cell# if you have concerns or questions, or want to verify your vote for me as TTQ...
It's gonna be a great weekend(or more)
Mr Artstream has told me that there WILL be PRIZES!!!so how we do the divvy is still a thought, but we have paper and scissors...and our order for 18 dozen more gummy flamingoes came in, today...!!! Another BOWL game.
YEP, we're still here...waitin' on ya'll
mike
