Yea, what Richard said... I knew there was a reason for the discrepancy but I couldn't remember what it was for the life of me ... or what the fix is! Thanks. Richard! (And you're right, he really DOES want to live in AZ anyway!)

Second step is to turn off that stupid Daylight Savings Time. It is all smoke and mirrors and does not save anything...

If it was good enough for Ben Franklin. It's good enough for us.

It is all a vast plot by THOSE Folks. We save up all of that daylight during the Summer, but can we get it back in the Winter???? No THEY take it and hide it from us!

Make life simple and go to GMT

Q Town Weather?

Mike, what is the weather forecast for the big Q during the rally? I did check Accu Weather and they were giving sunny with highs in the 65-70 range with lows in the mid-40s to lower 50s. How much wind? Do we need the lead bowling balls to keep things in place?

Weather or not you like it...

My magic weather ball site only advances the next 10 days, then it gives averages...I can, however, tell you that it is currently cool(low 50's), partly cloudy(GREAT moon rise), and just a hint of breeze...most enjoyable with a pull-over...no wood-no fire, but the back seat of the Maxima is beginning to look a bit flammable...
I find time zones important to my work...oh...wait...I DON'T work...reckon that's why my alarm clock is in a drawer in Colorado

OK...found the directions(well, Tracy did...)

So, w h e r e are we going...???
Ok...directions:::::::::

IF YER HEADED WEST ON IH 10: TAKE EXIT 19(1ST Q EXIT)...YOU'LL COME TO THE OVERPASS STOP SIGN...TURN RIGHT...GO TO THE NEXT INTERSECTION(MAIN STREET)(A COUPLE OF BLOCKS)...TURN LEFT...GO AWAYS TO THE FIRST TRAFFIC LIGHT(HWY 95)...TURN LEFT...YOU ARE NOW ON HWY 95...CONTINUE SOUTH ON 95 TILL YOU GET TO MILE MARKER 99...
START SLOWING DOWN...ABOUT A HALF MILE PAST MM99 LOOK FOR THE GREEN SIGN WITH WHITE LETTERS THAT SAYS "LA PAZ VALLEY"...TURN RIGHT...JUST AFTER YOU TURN RIGHT, YOU WILL TURN RIGHT AGAIN, INTO ROADRUNNER CAMPGROUND...
OK, NOW, IF YOU HAVE A SMALL RIG YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO JUST KEEP TURNING RIGHT(BASICALLY A U-TURN), AS THE BEST WASH CROSSING IS THE VERY FIRST ONE...IF YOU CAN'T MAKE THAT MUCH OF A CUT, JUST GO STRAIGHT, THEN MAKE A U TURN IN THE LARGE FLAT AREA, AND COME BACK TO THE WASH FROM THE OTHER DIRECTION(WE HAD TO DO THIS)...CROSS THE WASH, AND FOLLOW THE TRACKS TO THE LEFT...THERE SHOULD BE PINK-BORDERED POSTERBOARD WITH ARROWS IN PINK...FOLLOW THE TRACKS TO THE SHINY THINGS, AND SOMEONE WILL GREET YOU WITH A SUGGESTION FOR PARKING.
PARK, SET UP, GRAB A COLD SOMETHING, AND A CHAIR...ENJOY...

IF YER COMING EAST ON IH 10, GET OFF AT EXIT 17, TURN RIGHT AT THE OVERPASS ROAD, GO DOWN A BLOCK, TURN LEFT AT THE LOVE'S STATION(KUEHN ROAD), AND FOLLOW IT AWAYS TO THE FIRST TRAFFIC LIGHT(HWY 95)...FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FROM THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH AFTER THAT...

IF YER COMING SOUTH ON 95, SEE ABOVE, RELATING TO WHAT YOU DO ONCE YER ON 95(YOU ALREADY ARE)

IF YER HEADED NORTH ON 95, WHEN YOU SEE MILE MARKER 98, SLOW DOWN...ABOUT 1/2 MILE PAST THAT WILL BE A GREEN SIGN WITH WHITE LETTERS SAYING " LA PAZ VALLEY"...TURN LEFT, THEN FOLLOW THE ABOVE DIRECTIONS...

QUESTIONS??? EMAIL OR PM ME...

NOW HIT THE PRINT BUTTON, PUT THIS ON YER DASH RIGHT NOW, AND HURRY UP!!! We're waitin'

So, next is a list of things coming...
2 turkeys and a turkey breast
green chili potatoes
candied yams
green bean casserole
Stuffing
a pie or three
water and other beverages of choice
lord knows what else...surprise us or add to the list at will
oh, yeah, APPETITE
I have 3 boxes of wood, but am still looking(no desk, yet, but garage sales should happen this weekend...may have to settle for a bed...)
We are the only ones here...any excuses will be tolerated, but recorded...I will be checking for health cards...I will park you if you want, but anyone with more than 2 flats may stay where they are...hurry up, I'm hungry.

More Stuff For Da List

Mike et. al.

We are going with one big turkey instead of two smaller birds - more meat when when split. Will roast one half and smudge the other half. 8 to 9 pounds each side!

Red Chile gravy to go with the green chile mashed potatoes.
Some conventional gravy also.
Dressing
Got Carolyn a big bag of cranberries so who knows what she will do with them.
Something like pumpkin cheese cake is also in the works.

Will be bringing firewood.

Plan on shoving off on Monday so we should be in on Tuesday or Wednesday - all depends on how long it takes Greg to fit the new cushions in the 'stream.

We just found out that we bent the frame while traveling this summer. Won't be able to travel to Q until it is repaired.

$180...7 months...$0.85 a night...if I was in la-la land, I'd be making $0.07 a week on the dole...
It won't be the same without Jimmini and loco Lucy.
Who's gonna keep me from squattin' with my spurs on?
Coffee's on, sun's a risin', gentle breeze from the horizon...ok, got that poet thing figured out...
