We arrived home safe and sound this afternoon. Traffic moved along very well with very few delays. People headed from Phoenix to the west had a 20+ mile backup just out of town due to a single lane construction area.

It was great to see everyone at the rally and I think everyone ate too much, but the food was great. We left several folks behind to keep the rally going.

We can't wait for the New Years rally!

Pleasing to the pallet...

Having just returned to the rig after a wonderful spaghetti dinner at Howard, Carolyn, and Louisa's place,...burp...we are ensconced in our home, and digesting the last meal, not to mention Tony's brownies...what a GREAT group of people to be with!!! We waved goodbye to two trailers today, but the camaraderie continues...small rally by 4CU standards, but a chance to meet a few of new folks(Tony, and Bryan and Dianne)...campfires were as to be expected and ashtrays were made...I don't particularly care for WBCCI, but I love my unit...i re-upped because of this. We had a typical rally...folks pitched in and did what they were good at, and the rest was taken care of...
My name may be associated to this rally, but the people here developed it and made it work. The wind and cold temp made for some uncomfortable times, but the campfires were (GEE, Really???) bottle melters, and the conversations extremely entertaining...I'd adopt all of you, if I could afford it...well, maybe just pseudo adopt you(pay yer own freight)...
Picacho is looming, and I kinda feel sorry for the recipient of our white elephant...we went over the falls on this one...and we're still looking for THE one for Dead Horse...we'll find it. A big THANKS to the folks who made it here, and sorries to those who couldn't...we still have some firewood and a pallet, but this will be gone with the wind in a week or so...well...ok...in two days when the brisk wind goes away...m

Sheez its just as cold and windy here in Surprise as it was in Quartzsite! Just pulled in, time to unpack, decompress and snuggle on the sofa after a long hot shower.
As always I had an amazing time with fabulous peoples!

Thanks to Mike & Tracy, Jimmini for hosting and holding a site, and to everyone else for a great Thanksgiving. It is always great to spend time with our friends and meet new ones as well.

Another great 4CU Rally where a good time was had by all.

Thanks to all for their pics!!! Of course, my camera hasn't moved, except for road sway, in a month...Jimmini and ourselves are over in the Tyson Wash LTVA. If yer headed south on Hwy 95, turn right at the first ranger station, follow the main asphalt road around to the left. It will turn to dirt, and follow it about one mile, till you see the aluminum on the right...park before the two bushes with pink surveyor's tape, and check out where ya might wat to park...there is another area separated from the Bertch camp by a wash, to the Dodds' camp...but we have a nice rock lined walk to facilitate maneuvering to and from happy hours and fires...If ya wanna just camp with a few old Far*s, and enjoy outrageous solutions to ongoing national and international problems, or just hunker down and be alone in a relatively safe location...we're here.
Tony(from FLA) is wintering in this 'compound', and Brian and Phil(been in this spot for 5 yrs +) have been invaded by us...
