Keep an eye on the Flagstaff area, it's that time of year again.

Travel safe and we will see you Thursday morning...

Howard...If I-40 to I-17 around Flag looks bad, you could drop down off I-40 at Holbrook to Show Low and west on 260 to Payson...'course it can snow in Show Low, too, but probably not as much... or you could go south at Winslow to Clint's Well and Payson and then on to Phx Metro the get to I-10... There are several ways to get to Q without going through Flagstaff... But I bet you already know that!

We are going to leave tomorrow morning... should arrive around noon or a bit after that. Are we in the same camping area as last year? I can't remember the exit we took off of the freeway.

Headed west, take exit 19...follow the signs to 95, head south on 95 to just past mm 99, turn right at the paved road(there is a turn lane there), turn at the Roadrunner CG. The best crossover will require a U-turn as you come into the CG...if you can't meke the turn, there is plenty of flat space to make a circle and come back around. we are in the same place as last year...I'll have the pink arrows and pink surveyor's tape up to guide(or amuse) you.
We're waitin'...
Y'all be carefull, and drive safe(...yes, mom...)

Well, at least he (she?) didn't tell you to make sure you are wearing clean undies when leaving the house in case something happened, like my mom always did

Olsons,
We'll miss you, and will tip a few to you, too...
Louis and Sergio, and Howard and Carolyn rolled in yesterday. Richard and Jan rolled in before noon, today. One turkey is deep-fried, and the second is on it's way to the oil chamber...Happy hour started early , and will meld into dinner. For all you folks that couldn't make it::: Yer absence will be felt, and the chance to meet you new guys...well, we'll meet you next time or rally...have a Happy T-Day...

Mike,
Happiness and thanks to you and all the folks at the rally. Time to get the barbie and coals ready for backyard Dutch oven feasting here. And now that I know Happy Hour has started I may have to join you from the other side of the Sonoran desert. See you in January.
Cheers,
Ken & Linda

Hey all,
Enjoy your Thanksgiving meal. Conventional dining is much nicer than intraveinous :-)

No, no, 25, you've got it wrong. It's the TURKEY that gets stuck with pins, and stuffed with stuffing, not the chef.

Hmmm, lets see - hospital turkey or Quartzsite turkey - hmmmm, tough decision. One tastes like the cardboard it is, the other tastes like, well, the turkey it is.

Get well soon, and don't do again what ever it was you did this time.

For the rest of you, by now you must be so stuffed with turkey and other fun things that you can barely move. Particularly with Happy Hour starting early and running till whenever it runs too.

Best of times with the best of people, that's what it is all about.

Enjoy

Birds and Barbie-Q

Lost my last post...
Louis and Sergio, Howard and Carolyn, and Barbie-on-a-kite came in Wednesday afternoon. Richard and Jan showed up yesterday with the fryer, a bird, THE margiball, and organizational skills Thanks to Jim for providing the dinner site Michael provided his truck as a wind-stopper Howard and Carolyn brought a smoked turkey and Louis and Sergio brought a ham(and the high-flying Barbie) and thanks to the rest of you for providing whatever needed doing
I'd say we ate too much, but I don't have to...we attacked the birds , ham, and a plethora of side dishes and desserts, but lost the first round to the food...we'll regroup today and show 'em 4CU will persevere! For those of you that couldn't make it, we talked about you 'cause you weren't here...after eating too much, we waddled over to the campfire to swap stories and tell more lies. Bryan and his wife, from CA unit, came in just about dinner time, and have blended in nicely. Brian and Phil joined us(no affiliation), so we had a fair turn-out.
This morning, Julianne made eggs-n-ham and biscuits-n-gravy ...lordy!!! I'm gonna be walking like a duck...Some folks are gonna wander into town today to check out the curious stores(yep, curious, not curio) and EZ-ups...can you say "white elephant hunt...?".
