Provincetown Fall Rally II

October 9-12, 2009

Hi Folks........... we had so much fun last year, we have decided to host our fall rally again at Provincetown, Ma. Hurry and sign up to reserve your spot. So here is your formal invite.............................

The Cape Cod Mass Unit Invites WBCCI members to join us at The Provincetown Fall Rally, at The Coastal Acres Motor Court. A very nice campground located in the heart of town. Leave your car at the campsite and walk into town and have FUN, FUN FUN!

Go whale watching! Tour the dunes! See the Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum. Great food and plenty of shopping. So come and join the fun.

Friday Night: Welcome Social plus a Potluck Supper-6pm

Sat. Morning: Enjoy a Full Breakfast

Sat. Late Afternoon: Mix or Match

Catered Clam Bake or BBQ Chicken & Ribs
Clam Bake includes: 1 1/2 lb. Lobster +
Clam Chowder & Steamed Clams
BBQ Chicken & Ribs includes: BBQ Chicken +
Slab of BBQ Ribs

All Meals include: Corn Bread, Corn on the Cob
& Cole Slaw.

New England Clam Chowder by Bob Butler

Sun. Morning: Enjoy Danish & Muffins, etc.

Monday Morning:Enjoy Danish & Muffins, etc.

All the afternoons are left for you to tour P’town on your own.

We LOVE PTown!! We are missing so many rallies this year because of other plans.

Are going to have to do some things differently next year. Have a cup of chowda for us.

Thanks Gail and Titu for posting this.
I've been so busy, both in Madison and upon returning home, I'm just getting back online with this stuff. I've had several emails and phone calls about the rally. We still have space (as of now limit 25) if we get requests beyond 25 with a few weeks notice, I'm thinking we can get the campground to give us maybe 10 more spaces.
based on what happens this year, we may make this a yearly rally. The campground was very impressed with our club. The fact we took care of ourselves and parked ourselves, and were not high maintainance

I think we're going to see lots of folks signing up for this rally; there's so much going on in that area for a long weekend on the tip of Cape Cod. From what I hear (at the R1R in VT), there are repeat takers coming; this means the 30 vacancies will probably be filled and a standby list created.

The BBQ feed is incredible with choices of lobster, ribs, chicken and the other meals means you don't have to worry about cooking your own meals.

The Cape Cod Mass. Unit canopy will be up with the picnic tables in place.

What makes it nice is that the sites are W/E and there's a easy access dump station.

I always like to see a few comments and photos of recent rallies. We just returned from the 2nd Cape Cod Rally put on very well by the wbcci Cape Cod Unit.
We really enjoyed the National seashore, beaches and bike trails. The campground was walking distance from Provencetown and also toured Truro and the bayside. I will include photos.
Thanks to all for setting things up with the campground and being great hosts.
