A little help here on the R1R-2008. It was my last understanding that the monies we paid at Region 1 were only a deposit for the Rally. Can anyone clarify that and when will Bob be getting the invoices out for the balance due?

You might want to contact Bob directly. I don't think he reads the forums regularly.
Hmmmmm, My family prepaid for everything in two payments. A rally fee and then the parking fee (or was it in reverse?). Anyway, I thought Bob said he would get invoices (showing what was paid and what was due) out early in 2008 and this has not happened as far as I know. Soooooo, there are a few options for you to think about. You can travel up on your own OR: The NEU has a 16 day Caravan (we are on this one) AND an Express Caravan where I'm thinking you attach rockets to your Airstream / Argosy and hope for the best. Not really, I think it's a 2 or 2 1/2 day trip up to PEI. You can check with "rickandsandi" here on the forums for additional details on the Express Caravan to the Region One Rally and "Pam" for details on the Maritime Discover Caravan.
