We pulled out of the Vintage area at 1pm today and made it to Moutain View, MO. We crossed over the big muddy at Cape Girardeau and visited a famous burger chain.
Lots of rain on the road and much flooding near the river. Very sad to see many farms under water.
We are at http://ozarksrvpark.com/ which is a great little park. The owners are very nice and would love to see more Airstreamers. Looks like a great place for a rally.

Today is our last day at the International Rally. It has been a wonderful experience and we have enjoyed the time we spent with our friends and have made many new friendships while we were here.
We will hit the road later today and will try and keep you updated as we travel back to Phoenix.
Lots of great pictures of the tow out and now the tow back. Why no pictures of the "wonderful experience"?
I checked out the vintage section when my wife and I walked around the fair grounds. The Vintage trailers were far away from everybody else. I told my wife that we would walk back to the truck and drive. The Vintage area was by itself in a very nice spot by the lake. There were some very nice rigs and the people were very friendly. We got there in time for the walk throughs. There weren't many rigs when we were there. I feel those Vintage folks had the best spot. People were still rolling in because one guy with a Globe Trotter showed up when we were walking around the vintage area. The vintage people were so Isolated they could of had a knock down Beer drinking party with music and craziness and nobody would have heard them. HHHmmm sounds like a great idea!!!!
the other areas at the fair grounds were packed with trailers every where. There was not a lot of breathing room between them. The temp was fine, overcasted and pleasant when we were there. The only people we really saw were people walking dogs, a few bicycle riders, and golf carts driving around with flags on them. I think the guys in the golf carts were having the most fun (Buzzing everywhere). We met a few folks by their trailers. I usually initiated the conversation with a "Hello I like your Airstream." They would come over and talk a bit.
I saw people coming and going from the convention center. I did not see any kids if I remember correctly. We were touring the place from around 12:30 P.M to 2:30 P.M. A huge number of rigs!
I don't want to take anything away from the International Rally because I am sure it was a blast for all those folks. I could not justify the cost for an event like that. I can have just as much fun with a couple of trailers and friends hanging out. 90% of the time my wife and I boondock by ourselves.
