"OCEAN STATE Buddy Rally"- 2008

Hi folks,

We are planning way ahead for September 19th-21st, 2008.

Let's make this another great weekend at Fishermen's Memorial State Park, Point Judith, RI on the weekend of September 19th, for the 3rd year in a row. This year (2007) we had a turnout of 41 rigs. Hope to see you all back again in 2008. The hosts are on sites #41 & #52 in Area 2. (Water/electric) There are currently 15 sites available in Area 1 with Water/electric/septic).

This campground is exactly a 1 mile drive from the ocean/beach. The best part is the ferry that takes you to BLOCK ISLAND which is absolutely beautiful! This campground fills up quickly so book ASAP is you want to attend

Come on......come ALL!!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend this rally. It's held in a beautiful state campground with lots to see and do in the area. Let's see if we can top last year's rig count.....

Help!

Gail,

The Quipper lists the Fishermens weekend as September 5-7, 2008. Is that incorrect? Just want to make sure I book the right weekend!

NEU website also lists Sept. 5-7.

The date has changed, as many sites are already booked for that weekend in Area 1 with FULL hookup. The Quipper will reflect the date change as well as WBCCI.

Hi Gail !

We are going to join you at the Rally! Thanks for the message. The link in my your message didn't work although I see that it was trying to bring me to a location at airforums. Is there anything I need to do to sign up "officially" or is this message enough? Please let me know asap!

This is very exciting for us, we've never booked anything (except maybe our honeymoon about 20 years ago, this far in advance. We have lots of time to get excited about this!!!

And we hope that some time next year we'll have a chance to use that new dutch over cooking equipment that Santa is bringing. Ooops, I wasn't supposed to slip Santa's news! Hey Michelle -- do you think we can do the Lost Dutchman again? We can't wait to cook in our new equipment that Santa is bringing. Ooops, I did it again. Santa shouldn't have told me this secret because I obviously can't keep a secret!!!! LOL.

Can't wait to hear from everyone. And I can't say this enough: David misses Callie and want to email her. They had so much fun together, he is looking forward to the next gathering so he can bike ride with her. Hope we can work something out. Someone please get this message to Callie's parents -- that would be great.

Thanks for everyone's hard work. I really appreciate the organizers so much! Been there, done that. I understand and appreciate.

Ok, must say 'til later, now.

Allie !!!!! :-) :-) :-)

We have many WDCU buddies that attend NEU events because we are local to them. It's a wonderful thing. Looking forward to meeting you folks.
