Our current plan is to pull in after dark on the 31st. It all depends on when Jan gets her hours in at work. We can bring some refreshments as well including a bottle of unleaded for me...
OK, Richard, what did you two do there the last time that you need to wait until dark before you sneak in????

We have not done that, but it does sound good. If you want to bring some, that would be great.

Italian sausage (has pork like country ham) cannellini beans and escarole (aka greens and beans). I'll bring a few pounds of sausage and make a pot of greens and beans. Sound good?? We can do it along with the hocks, black eyed peas and collards and have one helluva good meal!!!!!

Do we have enough people coming in on 30th to go ahead and park and settle into the Quail area? I would like to arrive on the 30th.
I have reserved the Quail Group Site beginning Dec 31, I can see if it is available on the 30th. The park has a requirement of a minimum of 15 rigs to even reserve the area. I can check to see if we pay for 15 rigs if we can still use the area for that day.
What does everyone have in mind for shared/group meals? Are we going to be doing all of our meals or just some of them as potlucks? If it's just some of them, are there any ideas of which ones? New Years Eve dinner? New Years Day brunch?
I'm playing around with a few ideas - for example, I just bought a huge bag of bananas for a buck. So... I'll bring a few loaves of banana bread to share at breakfast.
I'm also thinking about making a big pot of Pasta Fagioli (an Italian pasta and bean soup)
Any other thoughts?
