Jimmie, you sure know how to rub it in. Snow bound.......
Actually the weather is quite nice now. The snow is melting and water is running everywhere. Supposed to have some weather this weekend but oh well......
Hopefully we won't have too much snow to get out when the Dead Horse takes place. Lou and I were talking yesterday that we shouldn't have any problem getting out. The problem may come when we try to get back into our property. We have a 300' driveway with about a 2% grade so going uphill if it snows may be interesting.
Hey, everybody have a great time. Our best thoughts are coming your way. Bob and Lou
Boy, I wish some genie would come along and melt ours! We're snowbound except right up at front by the street, where we've got the vehicles parked; from there, it's showshoeing to the house. Snow stinks!
Dead Horse is Feb 13-16. Humm. I wonder if we can get dug out by then.
This morning around 3am there was a pretty nice meteor shower in the Northeast sky. We saw around 1 or 2 per minute. Attendance was down for this event.

Lynn,
I am the other half of this quote and I am wishing for a genie too. He must of knocked a glass of water over. Lou

Out with the dogs again were we?
The only thing we saw in the sky at that time in the morning was these weird white things. Some folks call them snow flakes but who really knows what they are.............?

Barry & Donna Life is short - so's the door on an Flying Cloud (ouch)
Well we're home, got home late last night. Poor Craig was so tired he did not have dessert and went right to bed. Cody had dessert and then went to bed talking away. The boys had a good time enjoying the ranger hike. Sorry we left but glad we did before the rain came.
The tribe is dwindling...we decided that packing up in the rain is a spectator sport...GREAT RALLY!!! Thank you Louis and Sergio!!!
We scored the Dolly Parton 8-track tape and the mug that makes my nose hard when I drink from it...
Rain is just about gone...

We had a GREAT time at the Picacho Peak rally! Our thanks to Louis and Sergio for putting it all together. We sure enjoyed sitting around the fire swappin' stories.
We stayed a night at City of Rocks state park north of Deming on our way back, and got home yesterday just after dark. Now I'm out shoveling snow off the sidewalks. What a change! Just a couple of days ago I was walking around wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Oh well (sigh), it's back to reality for us now.....
The rain started about 7 AM Sunday and the last check of the weather said the rain will stop about 2 or 3 AM Monday. But the 5 days of the rally sure where great to have SUNNY days and 70F weather. 3 of us left here at PP.Min and I will pack up in the AM and head home.Did a lot of reading, worked a few Sudoku puzzles and rested up from all the partying today. Will BBQ a stake tonight. Sure was a grate rally thanks to the hard work of Louis and Sergio.A job well done.So well done they may have to do it again next year.
Thanks to everyone for making this a great rally. We thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company and we had a blast. We are home and the trailer is all cleaned up and stored. We will go through the camera and post some of our photos.
Thanks for the kudos, we could not have had such a great rally without the support and participation of everyone who attended.
See you in Deadhorse.
(Jimmini,we might be persuaded to do it again next year, the bloody marys in ABQ got us involved with this one!)
