We both seem to be better, are packing and expect to be there NEw Years Eve about supper time, with Zorro and the extra Tequila. Save a good spot for us!
Glad to hear that! We were thinking about you both this afternoon and were disappointed at the possibility of not seeing you guys this trip. Did your tee shirts arrive?

Well - we made it to Lordsburg - WOW this is a gawd-awful-desolate town! If for any reason I'm ever forced to live in southern New Mexico please drop me off in the middle of a field and shoot me.
We'll see everyone tomorrow in the early afternoon.

Coming at you all from the other direction...but we won't get there until Saturday...we are in Anza-Borrego CA State Park...good to get down out of the mountains near Julian (where it was really cold) to warmer weather... Have a blast everyone! And save some fun for us! We'll be happy to see you all...

Thanks for the encouragement Jim and yes we did get our shirts. We were bringing them to Picacho to wear, however, Gail is feeling worse. We probably won't make it. I'll start looking at the calendar to see when we can make the next one if we don't go to Dead Horse. I really would like to get to the Restoration Rally in MAy or April I think.
Tell everyone to have a great time and I'll make at least one of us a great margarita tomorrow night at happy hour.

What do you want to be in life, a spectator or a participant?
Prim and I are gonna have to cancel... Sorry folks...
Our schedule had to be moved up a bit and we had to drive right by the park yesterday from Quartzsite. We are at the Shady Dell on the way back to TX...
Next year maybe....???....
Too bad - I had a great white elephant gift...
We will miss you, enjoy the Shady Dell and say hello to Jen and Justin from us. Have a safe trip home.

Don,
If Gail is feeling better this weekend, drop by Anza Borrego State Park. We will be there starting tomorrow afternoon.

Sorry we couldn't make it this year. Strangely, I think I'm still a bit sore from the climb and descent last year.
I KNOW I'm still sore...the climb will be a spectator sport, from now on...we'll tip one to you...see you next time...

Happy New Year to everyone. Sorry we couldn't be there but I should be able to make the next rally. Drink about ten for me and don't climb till morning.

Happy New Year to one and all at the event and the rest of us unable to attend. 2009 is full of promise.

The 4CU rang in the New Year last night with a great party. No one else is up yet this morning , so that should tell you something. It's a cool windy morning, pictures to follow...
