Hey All... We were the very late bloomers that got to the rally on the last day about 4 PM from Anza-Borrego CA State Park... we missed many of the folks who left before we got here, but those remaining welcomed us with gusto, a pot luck, Pictionary and a warm campfire. (None of us will every be the same after the Pictionary game!) We are still at Picacho for a few more nights, but have moved from the group site to one of the electric loops... It's been raining off and on all day...hopefully tomorrow will be clear for our official "day of decompression"... AS friends from Prescott, Rich & Sadira...who were in Bisbee over the weekend... came by and joined us for a night. (We think they will be joining 4CU, too!) It was great seeing the 4CU'ers who were still here! See you all at Dead Horse!

Thank you Louis and Sergio for a Happy New Years Rally. It was great meeting you and Welcome to the club. So sorry we couldn't stay for the Pictionary game and White Elephant exchange. I would have liked to see what everyone got. Hope you used my DONATIONS. if not, I'm afraid I will SEE them again next year! Looking forward to Dead Horse. See you there.

Rose Mary & Ray,
We enjoyed having you both there and yes we did use your gifts! They were among the first ones picked. You may not have to wait until next year... Richard is talking about doing this again at the deadhorse rally.

What a GREAT, GREAT time that was. THANK YOU Louis and Sergio for planning such a fun rally! The ornament of Herk's butt was precious. What a terrific idea to take with us that we will always treasure. Speaking of a treasure, can't thank you enough for the Chocolate Fondue Fountain from the gift exchange. We're afraid to break into it as someone may desire it more than us in the future. (First time I ever told Steve to lock our door).
Everything was just so relaxed and fun it just shouted "4CU!"
I will post the Cranberry/Cream Cheese appetizer, as requested, as soon as we unload.
Sorry that there were no goodbye's; you all must've been doing the Death March up the Peak.
We just signed up for the Vintage Rally in San Antonio followed by Dead Horse. Hope to catch you at one or the other!

Remember the egg that I cooked for breakfast at the New years Rally? We just got it back from Jan's Aunt in New Jersey and it looks great. One side is painted for Jan and the other for me. This egg is 8 inches tall.

Wow, that is egg-cellent Richard. Did you know she was hatching this? I'll bet it cracked you up when you had a look at it. Does she do this as a hobby or commercially? If so, how much would one have to shell out for one?
Oh boy, the above is pretty bad isn't it? I just couldn't help myself. It is always neat to have a family member who is artistic. In our family it was my father-in-law who was an incredible photographer.

Yeah, Michael, I feel I may have jumped out of the fire and into the frying pan. I can claim I was fried with all the sun we had today. But I'm pretty sure I'll get basted over using that excuse. I should have thought of that before I hatched my email and laid it on everyone. But once the thought occurred I just couldn't chicken out. I just plucked away at the keyboard and there it was, in the nest, so to speak. But then I guess birds of a feather.....
Oh man, where does my mind go......

Not sure where your mind goes, but what scares me most is I'm right behind you...any flashlights out there???
Ya' know, poaching is against the law, and crepe-ng around after dark is frowned upon...however, I could quiche you for your sense of humor...well, almost. I'm not beaten, yet, but this side of the envelope is lookin' kinda thin...but then, I'm just a lay person.

I figured I'd be out on a wing trying to compete with you Mike. I'm feeling hen pecked already. The only things I could come up with seemed kind of fowl so I figure I'd best concede this one. Anyway, I've got to go and meet the service guy at the door. He's from Rotor Rooster.
Where is Colonel Saunders when you need him?
