We are going to fill our tank at home, but there is a water fill station in the park near the dump station. I am sure the water is fine. We have never had any issues with potable water at the AZ State Parks.
Last year there was a warning sign on the potable water tap near the dump station that the water did not meet quality standards due to agricultural run-off - - I don't remember what it was - nitrate or metals. Probably a legally required boogy-man sign.
Our holiday schedule just unexpectedly opened up, so we now have time to join the Picacho Peak rally, if there is space available, that is.
We are new members (< 1 year) of the 4CU and WBCCI, so we have looking forward to the opportunity to experience a rally. I read through most of the posts on this thread and the info on the sign up link, and didn't notice a cut-off date for signing up, so I thought I'd better ask.

Firewood and generator is in the truck. The 'stream is just about packed with all of the necessities. Load water in the AM. The four legged critters are suspicious, and we are about ready to hit the road tomorrow. See everybody on Tuesday.
I am bringing M-Ball refills as well! We will not run dry!
Will be making a big pan of lasagna as well as the chicken n dumplins. Thought some hot chocolate with optional peppermint schnapps might be nice for chilly nights, have that packed.
Filled my water tank yesterday, just about ready to roll. My Honda EU3000 generator is in the truck and has enough power for anyone who may run low.
The four legged beasts haven't seen the trailer in the driveway yet so all still calm here but that won't last long as we are going out for our morning stroll soon.
Taking off Tuesday after the I-10 traffic threw downtown PHX has subsided. Look forward to seeing everyone and meeting new A/S friends.

We are sorry that you won't be joining us for the entire time. But it would be great to see you on Thursday. The only things planned for that day are Happy Hour at 4 followed by a potuluck at 5.
