Snow flurries in Santa Fe this evening - not much accumulation. Planning on leaving on the 26th so that we are ahead of the weather that is supposed to come through on the 27-28th. Will be taking the I-25/I-10 route to avoid Flag. and Phoenix. 100 miles longer but warmer.

Possible meet-up at the Lemitar P-66 station south of Albuquerque for A&T and/or the Albuquerque crew? 10:00 - 11:00ish.

Will monitor 146.520 MHz and Megalink.

Happy Holidays to all!

We're just down the road enjoying the snow in Telluride (without the AS)! The official snow accumulation here was 7 inches, but more up on the mountain I am sure! Our plans are to head back home on Friday and see you all on Sunday! Safe travels to all!

Don't know if we'll make it to the Lemitar RDV point, but we'll be leaving Placitas around 10am and will monitor 146.520 and the MegaLink...

Travel Safe and we'll either catch you on the net or see you at Picacho...

Merry Christmas Cheers,

Art and Margaret (JAKI too!)

Damp, cool (+4C or about 40F) cloudy and green. There is a rumor that this large orange "thing" in the sky will show up around Friday for an hour of show and tell, then head south to the 4CU New Year's gathering.

Oh man, we soooo wish we were on the road already.

Next time.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Merry Christmas to all, especially Barry and Donna! We had a white (1 inch) Christmas this morning in el Norte. Mostly melted off by the afternoon so we are on our way to Picacho tomorrow morning. Everybody travel safe and, if you are not coming to the NYE rally, we will see you down by the campfire sometime.

Barry & Donna, hope you make it south for February. After President's day, escape to Q Town and go to the Grubstake for fish and chips? I just need to see what happens with Niagara and Victoria - my two cataracts..

We called the Ostrich Ranch this morning and the birds are not into producing eggs at this time, but we will keep checking with them. If we can not get an egg this year, the fall back plan is to prepare the same meal with eggs from Gallus gallus domesticus.

Went down and ruined Uwe's schedule today and the trailer is fixed! So we will see you all either Friday or Saturday.

Barry, Do you think you two will make it to the Feb. Rally?

We're staying the night at Kartchner Caverns State Park, a mere 90 miles from Picacho Peak SP. It is presently 34 DEGREES AND SNOWING LIKE CRAZY. I don't think this was in the rally brochure.

We're currently traveling in Arizona and staying at Catalina state park (Tucson) the next 3 nights.
Is the rally going on yet?
We saw one other AS here in the park today: a recent Bambi in loop A.

Yes, we have roughly 10 rigs here so far, and plenty of space

Anthony & Tamara arrived late last night from NM while we were keeping warm around the campfire...so I think thank makes 12 rigs all together so far...expecting a bunch more today and ore on Saturday... It didn't snow here, but got down to 33 last night according to our outdoor thermometer, and we had frost this AM...but it's warming up nicely...no snow!

If you's like to join us, come on up the road to Picacho Peak State Park...it's about 40 miles north of Tucson on I-10 at exit 219...just off the highway. No rally fee and you only pay the park directly for the nights you stay...dry camping in the group area..but you could also stay in the electric loops if you wish... would love to have you here! There's always room for one more!
