We picked our "baby" up on St. Patrick's Day. (I put a picture on our profile page) It was soooo cool. The Garden State Parkway on a Saturday morning was our first day towing her. THAT was interesting!! And actually we backed it down our fairly steep driveway (since there is no room to turn around) and it went fine, so maybe the first camp site will be just as smooth. I went out and sat in it in the driveway the other day. goofy!

Looking forward to meeting everyone in about a month!

Thumbs up I believe we're up to 30 rigs

Many crazy Airstream owning New Englanders who want to jump start the camping season! Gail (co-host, Titu & Gail on the forums) and I are really looking forward to seeing everyone.

Just heard via email from another WBCCI member (Charter Oaks) who lives in ME, he and his wife will be in attendance too.

U-Turn

Just started full-timing a few weeks ago. I'll be setting off and heading south next week. But I'll be making a U-Turn and returning in time for the get together at Salisbury! Looking forward to it.

I'll have to take a pass on most of the food items. Just found out that some health issues have been caused by food allergies. So, nothing with milk (or cheese), eggs, wheat, etc. Basically all of the good stuff. Maybe I'll bring along some tofu chowder (is there such a thing).

I did however vote for both items, as they're great and tasty!

See you all soon

Great!

I've got a 1970s five place flag bracket (old, new stock, purchased from C&G Trailer Service in CA) and a IKEA wall mounted wine rack (same as what the Lulr's of Airstream Life's Tour of America installed in their tour Safari) ready to go!

Picked up our Bambi - Salisbury, Here We Come

We are official Airstream owners as of this weekend! We picked up our beautiful Bambi Friday and went directly to Normandy Farms to test her out and see if Mike could get into a pull-through site without hitting a tree (he did, just barely). After only an hour or so, we were out walking the dog when Mikes cell phone rang. It was 53FlyingCloud. We had not communicated with each other in quite awhile. It was an astounding coincidence that he called just after we pulled in. When asked, he said, I dont know, you guys just popped into my mind so I thought Id give you a call. Coincidence? We think not. Just telepathy between WBCCI New England Unit members. He even diagnosed a minor problem. Cant wait to see everyone at the rally.

Hiker,

Congratulations on your new Bambi! Both my wife and I lived in Needham for several years. We also did our first Airstream night at Normandy Farms (about 7 miles from our house). Look forward to meeting you at the rally! Looks like it is going to be a great one..
