I think it's section C. Yuki should know.

This is our first time at this campground (that I know of). Here in the NEU we average 28 to 30 rigs per rally. Yuki booked the safari field which holds 40 rigs so we should have the space for all who want to attend.

This campground has two safari fields. We are in section C. Even though it states there are 29 sites, the sites are huge and the campground indicated we could double up (i.e., daisy chain) if we had more than 29 rigs.
The NEU has camped here before. If I remember correctly, this is the first time we all met Earl and Elaine. They were really quiet and reserved back then.

Flamingo decorating contest
Many people have asked me what "flamingo decorating" is so I thought I would provide a few examples to illustrate. Check out the "cowboy" flamingo and the "tourist" flamingo in the photos below to get your creative juices flowing. And, remember, everyone can enter the contest as each rig attending the rally will be given a set of flamingos to decorate.

Yowza! -- decorated flamingoes! What a hoot (no, I guess that would be owls, wouldn't it?) We can't commit yet 'til the Mr. has his work schedule worked out, but this is one rally I really don't want to miss.

Just sent in our sign-up....
Was wondering if we could include the proper steps for testing the Breakaway Switch in the itinerary.

Sounds like a good topic. I just need a little clarification -- would this be something you are volunteering to teach or are you asking if someone else could teach it?

I'm looking for an A/S motorhome but may not have one in time for this event. Would it be possible if I stopped by for the day on Saturday to meet everyone? You guys are great and I would love to meet everyone. I would also love to join the NEU forum but am not sure how to do that.

All work and lots of play!
Hi, I just spoke to Yuki about the rally and the idea of recreating the Alumination Celebration decorating and lighting ceremony from Region One Rally. (There was interest expressed in doing this on the NEU site).
She's says it would be okay for all of us to bring our decorations and lighting!
Decorate your rv and prepare for a night time lighting ceremony....stroll the safari field and check out the decorations.....It was great fun at Region One last year...
I'm already packing the lights, looking for new stuff to add, but will definitely have the palm tree.
I know that myboyburt is tough competition...

Flamingo madness!
Just a reminder to everyone, if you are remotely thinking about attending, you should try to get your coupon in the mail within the next couple of weeks. Myboyburt and I have some interesting seminars planned along with a fun flamingo decorating contest. Everyone can participate in the flamingo decorating contest (yes, even the rally hosts) because the judging will be done by popular vote! Yes, each of you will have a chance to vote for your favorite dressed flamingo.
Anyone with an Airstream is welcome to join us regardless of whether or not you are a member of the WBCCI. Send a PM to myself or myboyburt if you need sign-up information.

Update on demos/seminars
So far, this is what we have planned for demos...
1) Riveting...we will use scrap aluminum for this demo but are willing to demonstrate on a real, live trailer. Let us know if you have riveting needs and we can go from there.
2) Wheel bearings...we will demonstrate how to check and repack your wheel bearings and explain why this maintenance is a top priority.
3) Polishing...this is always a favorite. A tried and true polishing technique will be demonstrated using Nuvite polishing compounds.
4) Safety...not sure of all the details on this one yet but I can tell you it is a movie on trailer safety

Snow, snow, go away...
If we ever dig out in New England, we may bring our new '64 Suburban to the rally.
