I'm in the Lahey Clinic with him right now (got to love wireless) and he is resting comfortably (lots of morphine helps). He is scheduled for surgery tomorrow to pin/wire the patella back together.

Let me know if anyone feels up to running a polishing or wheel bearing demo.
My thoughts and good wishes will be with you folks tomorrow. I hope Brian recovers quickly.

Oh, you don't want me to handle any of these seminars, remember I don't even know how to hook up or tow my trailer.....

For this incident, there is no exotic tale to tell...he slipped on sand in a parking lot and fell hard on the sharp edge of a curb. His knee cap was split clean in half. Ouch! He is still in surgery as we speak but the prognosis is excellent for these types of injuries.

As far as calling you if I need you...I'm thinking we could start by scheduling some time for this weekend where you can come work on either polishing or repairing the black tank.

Nancy- Please give Brian our best wishes but you should have come to us first. Sandi has all sorts of duct tape we could have used to patch him up. I am sending you out a check tonight for the rally. 3411 will be there just not sure who yet! Need help with anything please let us know.

I assume he's gotta stay at the hospital for a bit...(?). "surgery", and all....

I can stop by on my way home tomorrow and sneak him in a 6-pack of something tasty.... if he's gonna be stuck there.

The surgery was uneventful albeit it ran longer than expected due to the extensive bone shattering of his knee cap. He was discharged last night and is resting comfortably at home. The ride home from the hospital was an adventure in itself. Remember all those bumps, cracks and potholes on the Rte 495 bridges? And I thought they were bad when towing an Airstream. I guess it is nothing compared to the resonation down a leg brace just after surgery! Ouch!
But, on the bright side, he has "Nurse Ratched" attending to all his needs (bwha-ha-ha-ha-ha!)!
