OK, now that this thread is totally High-jacked, is anyone getting any work done today? Andre' must because he has been very quite again! Can't wait till Friday! Sandi and I were packing last night and getting ready for the season.

REMINDER to everyone because I almost forgot; please change your 9V batteries while getting ready for the season!

I hear ya. We better stop or the hosts will be horrified that talk on their rally thread has turned bloody.

Here, we can toast a glass of red wine (really blood) to Michelle for all her hard work and to a sucesful first rally for 2007!

I think that puts the thread back on track!

ohhhhhh...you aren't helping here!
wait until mom gets home...you will be in biiiiiig trouble!

On second thought...I know that wine will keep one host happy...

I think we can also get back on track if we stop thinking about that blood stained little saw. I'll be picking up my feet off the floor at the rally worried about some little mini chain saw wielding critters running around in the tent.

Someone remind Andre that THOSE kind of pets aren't allowed at WBCCI events!

It's the second rally of the season! Richard and Robin held the Rig N' Rent in March (it was fun, twice!).

And I'm not the only host; Gail and Titu are working with Leon and I. They have already picked up the unit tent and our coffee makers, gotten the crackers and ordered the bread for the chili blend on Friday night. They are arriving early on Friday so that we can put up the tent and prepare the area for our group dinner and campfire.

Hosting a rally with another person or couple in the unit is the way to go. Makes it more fun for the hosts and lighten's the workload a bit. A big THANK YOU to my very first Airstream buddies. Titu & Gail!

Actually, my fault, I forgot all about the Winter Rig or Rent because I had to stay home and Sandi went without me. Yes, it takes more than one member to make a great Rally and we (us big mouths here today) want to thank everyone for all their hard work and dedication so far (sound like I'm running for office). Plus please remember it has all been in fun. And that is why I love this group so much (again, running for office)! Still counting the days....then hours!

The park is flooded!

We had reservations for thursday, friday, and saturday nights.
What just happened...?.....Ahhh!

We just got a call from the MA reservation people -- the park is closed due to flooding!!

They say it will re-open friday. So we were refunded for thursday night. I guess we'll be coming on friday.

Kind of a bummer!

Anyone else hear from them?

I'm booked for Thursday night too. I have not heard from them but my phone has been tied up because of work conference calls all morning (I'm on a conference call now ).

I'll call them as soon as I'm off the phone with work to see what is up.
