Man, did it rain last night! The foul weather never dampened our spirits or slowed the fun. Don’t worry, Leon got the entire roof cleared of snow!
Good day for Movie’s , when the rain started in earnest, we headed for the Peanut and Watched the Day the Earth Stood Still.
Around Happy Hour, we all found ourselves in the Rec. Hall, watched Ann’s Airstream Promo, then we put Narnia in while some of the Adults played Dominos and others hung out and caught up chatting.
The meal was awesome!
After the meal we tested the Home made Lemmonchello, mmmmm!
Then we settled in to Watch the Long Long Trailer. Funny movie!

Good man! He told me (via cell phone) that there was about 3 1/2 of the white stuff on the roof. Must have been like trying to shovel cement after the rain / melting we've had in the past weeks.

I have never seen so much snow in my life! Balgrn was a champ bringing up the Peanut. When we first got there I could barely see it tucked in between the snow banks!
P.S. We found out halfway to Beantown that Abe's flight got cancelled for a 3rd time!! He arrives tomorrow.

Needless and sorry to say we didn't make it , even for a visit . On call the whole weekend not knowing what Mother Nature had in store for us. We have been living with that kind of snow since Dec, can't even imagine what mud season will be like this year. Thanks for the posts , there were times I could hear the laughter . Get home safe.
Thank You to everyone who who turned out at Freedom this weekend! Once again, too much to do and too little time.
On the way out we were thinking that that maybe we should have snuck over to King Pine and done some tubing, but it's a good thing we didn't. When we got home we found the power had been out since about 1:00 A.M.! No frozen pipes and the fish in the bowl hadn't turned into Mrs. Paul's, but it was only 53 degrees inside. Had'ta scramble to get the generator goin' and the pellet stove crankin', then sand the latest layer of ice in the driveway. Power finally came back at 5:15. All's well; Ready for the next rally, now!
