Mid Winter IBT Rally

Anyone planning on going to Perry in January? Know where I can get more information?

Yes I will be there, the schedule hasn't been resolved. The Blue Beret has been running a series of articles on Perry. We spent several days there a week ago and used the Blue Beret articles to find our way around town and see some of the sites. It should be a fun rally.

Yeah the entertainment sounded interesting, Alan Jackson's mother and sisters band, the former Ms Georgias, wine and cheese reception. I saw the BB info. The WBCCI site and event calendar is still stuck in 2006. No contact listed beyond snail mail. I had a few questions.

Can you go if not preregistered?
How many units do they expect?
Is it 3 amp or full electric?
Will there be a dog section?
Do you send the check with funds for however many nights you want to stay or is the option only for the extra night before?
Do they mail out more information upon receipt?

I have never been to an IBT rally, are there many members that attend that are not involved with the meetings?

I just got this reply from the International President, hope it covers all questons.

Try to answer all questions:
1. 30 amps. Paying Fairground nightly rates, and for
number to come, should be 3 point hook-up for all.
2. Numbers. Not normally an issue at this rally, but due
to food to be ordered and catered dinners, advance
registration is highly desirable. Members do not have
to attend any of the activities, but it is hoped that they
do come to at least the open seminar where all members
may speak to the Club's business. This is the major
meeting where Club business is conducted by the IBT.
3. There is not normally a dog section at Mid-winter IBT.
Rules only require this at Internationals only.
4. Members pay for the nights they are present, and this
rally runs from Monday, 15 January thru Friday, 19 Jan.
Parking is available a few days before to a few days after.
5. More data is available upon registration, from Martha Kerns,
and coupon is in Blue Beret.

Thanks Rick. I appreciate the information. I may become spoiled with full hook-up at a rally. I will send in my coupon. It will be my first rally to preregister, that's why I had all the questions early. Thanks to you and the IP. I will also be planning on being at my first WBCCI meetings. I am anxious to see the governance in action.
