Thanks. Yes she (we) did. Why not post it here. It's freaking great that it's all planned out. We can use it as a guide as to what to pack and when we can go sightseeing.

Food Questions
How much chili should I plan to put in the cauldron?
I am going to cook up a batch of chili but imagine that you don't want it all.
Do you have an estimate of about how much each of us should contribute?
I was thinking maybe 4 servings or 4 cups?
This is my first chili cauldron. Don't want to ruin the recipe!
Do you want us to cook the quiche at the campground?

That's all for now. Thanks again.

Hi Allie,
4 servings/4 cups of chili is pefect! You can make the quiche at home and heat it if you wish or you can make it there - your choice!

Now that the secret is out: Allie cooks! I'd like to plan ahead for next weekend's rally.
I highlighted the "food" on the schedule. Is there anything that I highlighted that I don't need to prepare for? For example, should I plan to bring cookies for breakfast on Monday?
I am a bit challenged when it comes to being prepared for a rally. For this rally I want to participate by both attending rally events and contributing to group meals. As for contributing to group meals, my past experience has been limited to running to a local grocery store once I arrive at the campground, and getting food ready 30 minutes after the party starts!
I really want to contribute and plan ahead so please tell me what which of the highlighted foods would welcome contribution. I understand the "kid's favorite" but I don't know if I should bring something for continental breakfast...I know that I bring a side dish for the hotdog roast, but do I bring the hotdogs too?
I've noticed that there is usually a rally kitty and the hosts provide some of the meal items.
Hi Allie,
For the Woman who have K-P duty like me...
Friday Night-For the Magic Chili Cauldron-bring a can or make a batch of your favorite Chilli for the pot-bread and butter will be provided.
Saturday Morning-A continental breakfast is provided.
Lunch- On your own-Be prepared to make a picnic lunch/beverages for your family to bring to Adams Farm Saturday afternoon. We are going to have a picnic at the farm
Saturday Night-KID's POT-Luck! I made Sheppards Pie to share-that's my son's favorite I'm hoping it's someone else's too!
Sunday- Bake a Quiche and Enter the Common Quiche Contest-we are eating the results so technically we woman are cooking again. I made two ham & Cheese one's to enter. Is your mouth watering yet mine is?
Sunday-Breakfast on your own
Sunday- Lunch on your own
Sunday NIGHT-Make a side dish to share to go with the Hot Dogs and rolls we are providing-I'm making my favorite Refrigerator Mashed Potatoes! I want everyone to try these they are super good!
Monday morning-I'm making you all COOKIE'S For breakfast! I have two healthy recipes I want you all to try.
Also although it's not listed we usually Happy Hour around 4pm so plan for 2 of those. At last years Youth Rally someone made bite-sized P&J's. i thought that was real clever.
You will need to bring all beverages, coffee and tea we serve at all continental breakfasts. It's a habit.
Hope this helps.
Robin

Kathy is the brains and the talent behind the "COOKIE for BREAKFAST" concept.
She has offered to make us HER breakfast cookies-now you will have a choice between my pathetic offerings and something GOOD!

Oh....We are not able to make it this year. So sad..... I will miss wearing my "pumpkin judge's hat". Have fun. We'll be thinking of you. We'll just have to wait until 2010 now.

Did I ask you about bringing the coffee pots from Alumination to the MM & M?
Also Kristina tells me we WILL be cooking our hot dogs and sausages over the campfire like REAL campers so bring your hot dog roasting sticks!!!!
RG
Ok, I've made a note of it. We will bring the 100 cup and 60 cup coffee makers. We also have dark pumpkin colored table cloths and candle center pieces from the fall business meeting which we will bring to decorate our dining tables.
