Live Streaming Audio from WBCCI Int'l in Perry, Ga

It has been announced on the WBCCI Forum that the Business Meetings in Perry will be available for all members to listen to by streaming audio:
http://www.wbcci.org/Forum/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=7&Topic=387

The June 23rd IBT Seminar, June 26th IBT Meeting, June 30th Delegate's Meeting, and July 5th Exectitive Committee Seminar will all be broadcast!:
http://www.wbcci.org/index.cfm?pageSRC=IBT_Delegate_Meetings_Live_Broad cast

I'm listening to the IBT Seminar as I type this (unfortunately I got up late and missed much of it). The audio quality is very good. I'd love to record it, but have no idea how.

I hope WBCCI posts the recordings on their web site after the mettings are over, but if not I hope someone can record the other meeting as I will not be available to listen to those meetings live.

The meeting has been temporarily suspended for lunch, but I think is getting ready to continue soon. There is only some faint audio at the moment.

The meeting just ended. I missed the first 2.5 hours, but listened to the rest. Overall the audio quality was quite good (except for about a 1 minute segment in the middle that had a lot of static). I had my computer speakers cranked up so that I could listen while I was attending to chores in another room and could hear just fine. It appeared that the audio link dropped a couple of times (at least for me). I had to go back in and try the link from the wbcci.org web page up to half a dozen times in one case to get it to reconnect, but once reconnected all was good again.

Did anyone who was listeneing understand what motion Region 1 Presient Robert Thompson "withdrew" at the end of the meeting? He said he was withdrawing the "motion that is before the delegate's". Could he possibly mean he was withdrawing the motion to allow Four Winds Motorhomes into the WBCCI? I find it hard to believe, but given that he was the one that made the motion to send this item to the Delegate's/Membership for a vote back at the Mid-Winter IBT, that is all I can thnk that he is withdrawling. Plus, I believe this is the only motion that is current "before the delegates". Somebody please explain.

Let me make one other observation. In her Communications Liaison Report, Renee Ettline noted that there has been feedback that this particular meeting (the IBT Seminar) should me moved to after the general population parking dates. As it stands right now, it was held before the general membership arrives. This issue, of course, is that this is the meeting where the general membership is allowed to speak publicly on the issues before the club. At the actual IBT meeting on June 26th (not sure if this is before or after the "parking dates"), only the IBT itself can talk, with members only being able to attend to listen. I hope Renee's point is taken so that next year all members have a way to voice their opinion. But still, just just broadcasting the audio from this meeting is a huge step forward for the club.

You can record live and recorded streams with HiDownload. Great program.

If you've got the time, don't forget to listen to the IBT Meeting form Perry, GA at 8:00am Eastern Time (I think) this morning. But I won't be able to listen from work, so I'll be looking for a summary this evening. Thanks.

Did the date for the delegate's meeting change? For some reason I thought that meeting was being held today (i.e., June 26).

Just listened to the first part of this morning's meeting. Waiting for them to get started again at 8:20. I guess they're not too excited about live blogging the meetings as they asked all laptops along with cell phones to be turned off.

Did I just hear correctly that there will be NO comments allowed at the Delegate's meeting regarding the moho study report?

comments are made during the ibt seminar at which time any member can speak. The ibt is for voting on the items that have been discussed at the seminar.

I was thrilled to find out that the logo/flag I designed for my unit "Heart of Texas Camping Unit" was approved today!
