Jacksonville's Ships Ahoy Rally
The Florida Unit is sponsoring a rally at Hanna Park in Jacksonville, FL. It's the weekend right after the Can Opener on the other side of the State, so come on over to the east coast for more fun. Full hook-ups for $25.43 a night and a small rally fee to cover some group activities.
Lots to see and do on your own and a USN ship tour for the group on Saturday. See the attached flyer for more details and registration information.
This rally is open to all WBCCI members and non-WBCCI Airstream owners provided they haven't been WBCCI members in the past.

Jacksonville's Ship Ahoy Rally
What does being an Ex-WBCCI Member have too do with it?

It used to be if you had done your time they would tie a Yellow Robbin Around the Old Oak Tree and welcome you home.
Forgiveness doesn't seam to run high on the WBCCI side.

This is a good discussion, but let’s not hijack this thread. I started a new thread on this here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f286...tml#post640392
Please come over there and let’s talk. I responded to each of you on my opening post, and I really want to hear your input on this.

Silvercabin - have now found the flyer and details mentioned on sign up page - that I could not find. Still tentative...need to check schedule for work in the area. Oh - and I don't intend to start another thread with this tidbit - but we are not yet WBCCI members. We've inquired about membership, waiting to hear from chapter people.

mcdowellc,
You are most welcome to attend, and are invited to join my Unit if you would like, although we are a little far from PA.

Last Date to Sign Up is Approaching
If you are planning on attending, please send the form (in post #1 on this thread) with your rally fee ($10.00 per person) and the first night's camping fee ($25.43) to the address on the form, by January 3, 2009.
This should be a fun rally. Pretty open agenda that leaves time for you to see the local sights, nothing really organized other than the ship tour, just people getting together to share experiences and new adventures. No business meetings either!
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Randy
