International site map

Is there a site map for the International? Not the driving instructions but a map showing the layout of the different parking areas and meeting places?

No, not ahead of time, you will receive all the info you need at registration with a whole packet. Including maps, tourist information and a schedule of events. Also, there are updates and announcements several times a day via CB radio...so if you have one, be sure to bring it.

The reason I ask is that this is my 2nd International where I will be attending without preregistration. Registration was at the same time as opening ceremonies in a different location. By the time I got registered I had missed events and had no way of knowing where to go to register at Lansing though I asked every "body" I could find from the parker to attendees. Perhaps at Salem registration will be on site though and not a drive or bus ride into an unfamiliar city. ????

Thanks Shari. Will I meet you if I day trip to Silver Falls?

If you go to the parking bullpen which is well marked, they should be able to tell you where registration is. Also there is usually a hospitality tent which is by the center and it always has good info as far as lists of people in attendance and thier parking locations and as a last resort go to the "Information Control" folks...all these locations are pretty obvious and centrally located.

I believe this year everything is "on-site" or very close by compared to last year when the main meeting areas were 30 minutes away from the parking site.

No sure of my specific plans yet...but hope to meet you as well ~ all I know is we will be coming in during the Vintage Parade and parking in the VAC 30amp area.

I gave this to Carol offline but thought others might be looking for it...

Registration is in the Jackman Building according to the schedule although I thought with some very restrictive hours. You show up at 8am, but it looks like you can't register until 1pm (or something along those lines).

Here's a map of the fairgrounds for those that need to know where things are:

65GT,
I agree that registration is restrictive, but maybe they don't expect many non-pre-registered AS'ers. I don't understand why they don't register folks in the morning. Registration starting on Monday June 26th is from 1-4pm (if you're not pre-registered). According to the wbcci online calendar, parking is from 8-4 each day for those pre-registered. If you're not pre-registered, they'll probably put you in the "bullpen", a place to park inside the gates until registration opens up. I can see this area could get quite crowded if a lot of folks show up at one time that are not pre-registered. There is no waiting outside the gates unless you are before 8am or after 4pm.
