International Rally in Huron -2013

It is May and I haven't seen a single post about the Imternational Rally in Huron.

We are bringing a caravan in on June 26th and would like to know who we can expect at our Happy Hours there. If you are planning to attend, let us know here!

We are going to our first International Rally this year. We cannot be there for opening - won't arrive until the 30th, and are a little concerned about that. Is there anything important we should know about arriving late and getting parked?

Don't worry, they will park you when you arrive. Be sure to go to Georgia's happy hour, great people.
Not to be out done by the Georgia unit, the Oregon unit will be having a happy hour also with our 3 members, of course different days so we can happy hour hop.

No reason the Happy Hours need to compete! We can have a "roving happy hour" that moves from the Oregon Unit to the Georgia Unit. Who knows, with only 350 rigs and 200 of those likely as early arrivals, we may be parked near each other.

Wherever the Dog Section is located, that is where the Georgia Unit will be barked.

We're going on both the ATW Anniversary Caravan and International - will be parked with VAC.

We'd like to join the VAC, wherever they are, on the last evening before parading in to the main rally site so we can parade in with everyone and park with the VAC. Do you know where that last camp is, or where the VAC is forming up for the parade, or who we can call/contact to get this info? We've checked the various websites and had no luck.

Currently watching it rain with the VAC caravan at Hot Springs, SD.

We are headed to Huron with a unit caravan. We can't wait to see old friends. For those interested, there will be a Dutch Oven session on Sunday.

If you have a camping dutch oven, bring it and the following:
-2 -29oz cans sliced peaches in syrup
-1 yellow or white cake mix
-cinnamon
-1/3 stick butter
-whipped cream or cool whip

We will share the results with those who come to watch. Hope you will plan to attend!
