Installation Rally

I'm off this morning for the Region 9, Highland Lakes Unit, installation rally at the Buckhorn Resort in Kerrville, TX. This will be my second WBCCI rally.

Highlight for me will be a tour of the Mooney Aircraft factory in Kerrville. The WBCCI rallys seem to have a lot more and better planned activities than the other trailer rallys that I have attended in the past. Some of them had little more than a pot-luck on Saturday night.

I'm eager for my wife to retire the end of the year so she can accompany me to the rallys. She often joins me on Friday night, but this rally is just a bit far from home and she just now returned from Germany and went back to work today. She really needs a weekend of rest.
