Hey Guys...
Just checking in to see the final count for kids...is it still at 12? Also..we were at the orthodontist for Ben this morning and I saw a neat project in a magazine for the kids that I think Ben might like to work on it with others....How arbout painted Halloween stones seeing how the campground is on a river I believe we could gather some nice smooth rocks for decorating and painting if time allows for a little crafty stuff. I could get together all that would be needed...let me know.

That sounds GREAT!!! We have 14 kids on the list at this time. Big kids like to collect rocks too! You'll have to check out the dash on my truck when we get there!

I believe you are in. (Still trying to mach Forum Names to Real names, ha-ha)
You are one of the last two rigs to squeeze in, as the campground managed to get us two more sites and if no one cancels , we are officially full!

Oh Bearded One, you folks have done a fantastic job filling this rally. I cannot wait to see the gang and enjoy everything you've planned for us!

OH! I guess what you call "planning" is what we is what we call "flying by the seat of our pants!"
Apparently, others have been percolating other little plans that I wasn't even aware of. I'll probably be as surprised as anyone! Can we leave now?

I wish! But then again I've got to finish the laundry so we have clothes to wear to this adventure.

Greetings Happy Great Pumpkin Harvest Moon Campers!!!
We have 30 rigs camping with us this weekend! Yes, we managed to squeeze everyone of you in. We maybe spread out a bit OR doubling up but ALL have been included. If you didn't read your confirmation letter NOW is the time to do it so you have your supplies for the carving party and if you have other pumpkin decorating things you bring them. I'm not kidding about the toaster competition. WE NEED TOAST! Everyone needs toast to go with their egg in a bag breakfast. If you can think of a faster way to make toast for 75 people (59 adults 16 kids). If not ENTER your toaster in the Burning Buns First Ever Toaster Competition. See all you happy pumpkins in Townshend!

Ok, bringing our "little" grill, old but functional canopy, white box toaster and Blongo Ball game.

kids, kids, kids...
Well, we're tapped out on spaces but the numbers of kids attending keeps growing as I receive the registrations in the mail. If they all show, we'll have 21 kids in the following age groups:
3 & under: 1
3-6: 7
6-12: 8
13-18: 5
big kids (18+): 59
yowza!

Last call on the big tent!
We're packing the Jeep tonight....last call on supplies from the NE Unit trailer. Are you sure you don't want the big tent? Sounds like the best solution and we can fit it.....send and email or give me a call later tonight.
Gone shopping for "kid" friendly food.....seeeeee you.

Yippee! Hooked up and Ready to go!
Three days of fun and adventure! We'll be leaving after work tomorrow ( so, about 5:30ish). As always we'll have our CB on the "Wally Byam Central" channel - which is 14 for those of you not in the know. If you are attending the rally, traveling in the same general direction as us, at about the same time we maybe able to connect via CB!
30 rigs signed up. Wow, really fantastic for an end of (New England) season rally.

Saturday night fire
Will there be a community campfire for those not going to the Hayride?
Are we the only ones planning not to go to that?
We are packing and up and planning to head out at 10:00 a.m.
Can hardly wait!
Thanks.

Hi Kristine,
In the NEU, it ain't camping without a campfire. There will be one every night.
I'm sure their are other folks not going on the hayride. If everyone who is signed up for this rally were to attend we'd need one heck of a big wagon.

Cool nights, warm days, kids, pumpkins, and the kindest hosts that you will ever find. Well done Doug, Jamie, Robin, and Richard!
Happy way to end our season.
