Great...now we not only have an RV campground on the way to Albuquerque, but we also have a recommendation for a cowboy dive bar. That pretty much ends the debate...what do the other So Cal locals think?
John
It looks like several of us who will be going, will be at the notreallyarallyrally next week. Planning it all out should make for some good conversation around the ol' Margarita Ball.

While the recommendations are flying.... All of you eastbound S.Cal peeps need some good eats while passing through flag? I'd recommend stopping at Crystal Creek Sandwich Co. in Flagstaff some of the very best sandwiches around....just a short distance north of the I 40...park in the Safeway parking lot at the intersection of Plaza Way and Milton...Crystal Creek is just north of the Safeway parking lot on SW corner of Milton and Riordan in a gas station parking lot..(There is NO room to park in their lot) Park at Safeway on the north end of the lot and walk 500 feet on a little walking path from the north side of Safeway parking to the sandwich shop. TASTY you won't be disappointed.

Ken,
I am not sure the rest of us So Cal peeps will be able to follow Kevbo the Greeter to the rally, he is famous for his one week in advance air drops. I doubt there will be enough time or enough room for us all to fit in the C130. We have also found that traveling with the exalted one sometimes (usually) results in wayward stops at dive cowboy bars resuting in short term incarceration. Since he has a fulltime lawyer and bailbondsman, it's no big deal, but the rest of us are mortal and pale to him in our financial fortitude.
Kevbo - no sorry I won't make it next week - its a CPA time of year thing + my trailer is snowed in the barn anyway.
Time - I beggining to understand what you mean.....perhaps you could meet him at the edge of town and make it look like you all came together - that way you would have a police escort too (you know you could talk the friendly state police to drive by the rally on the way to the jail).......
BTW - I am available to bail anyone out once they cross the NM border.
Okay. I am not SoCal OR NorCal. But then actually I'm both, being right in the middle. So maybe I'm BiCal. Hmmm. In any case, I'm on board with the caravan. And I'm fast with my little Bambi so I'll catch up. Just let me know when and where. I usually like to go a day early.

ms. bam,
i also like to "arrive" early.
i'm leading a special cowboy tour.
i'll setup the calendar for this cowboy "caravan".
Maybe we can all meet in Williams, AZ and finish the last leg into Albuquerque in mass. Or, if we want to make a statement, we could meet in Needles, CA so as to be a real California Caravan. Maybe a few mini-caravans meeting up for the roll into NM. Just ideas. More talk at the notreallyarallyrally and then more at Casini.
