Hatch is a small town in south central NM. It is located in the center of our chile growing area and the location of the annual chile festival. The name has been appied to the chiles grown there and in all of the surrounding areas.
New Mexico food flavored with Hatch chile makes most "Mexican" food from Texas, Arizona, southern California and yes even Mexico seem a bit bland by comparison. I know this will start a debate but it is true that once you have eaten our Hatch chiles for awhile, you get a bit addicted to them.
Symptoms of eating Hatch chiles are first a tingling of the tongue. If you continue, you can expect your nose to run and in advanced cases, your eyes to water and your forehead to perspire.
Let's get some California chatter going on the back channel regarding our caravan to this Balloon extravaganza.
Are we driving together (but not together?) to the first location?
And btw, where do YOU dump when boondocking? The nearest campground? Truck stop? Behind the Albertson's? The neighbor's back yard at 3am after you get home?

finally figured out the methane gas conversion system on the 'dream stream. i was worried there for a min. now i can operate the truck and 'dream stream off the grid, and for free...

str8s,
i was afraid, w/ the exception to ms bam, and the times, that this rally or "fiesta", was missing in action... wait... there's the other 345 w/ the funny pink chickens (and high spirits i might add)... so there would seem to be some "gas", in the bag...
is anyone else attending?
there was a rumor of a (regular) coors beer drinkin CPA... but i'll believe it, when i see it...
