Ok the FCU is getting its accounts set up, so we can start taking money for this rally.
I have 17 on my list (if you have not signed up on the forum, please do so) and a couple that I've received private e-mails. So we have ourself a rally.
We are required to pay 1/2 now ($130 each site) and the rest is due by August 31, 2007. They do have a refund policy of $10/day if you decide later you cannot make it.

Yup - thats all you need to do - we are officially Four Corners Unit - NM, WBCCI - but its Four Corners Unit for short - I believe the bank will take either.....
Thank you Kevbo for updating the rally calander - especially with all the questions and answers concerning this rally - it really helpful when you have all kinds of questions about a rally to have a FAQ - specific to the rally.....

Should we(can we) send the full amount ? Also, should we discover that we won't be able to make it, can we sell our spot...I don't mean scalp, but just recover our expense...? Thanks to you and all the others who have made this thing a THING...will anyone be bringing helium...?

i'm expending my 499th post doing this. one more and i am no longer mortal, and as such, won't be able to play here OR with you anymore. my head will have grown SO big that it will start to generate it's own weather system, as in polar ice cap, the weight of which will have forced me to fall down, and i won't be able to rise; as in "please help me, i've fallen and can't get up".
Michael and Tracy - you can send the full amount if you want to - but only need 1/2 at this point. Yes you can sell you spot if you decide not to come - I'm sure there will be takers as it does get filled up fairly early in the year.
They also have a refund policy of $10/day before July 14 - that tells me they are confident they can resell too.
This sure does look like a lot of fun... I'm going to talk to the family tonight...my daughter will need to skip a couple of days of school to go on this one but it sounds like too much fun to miss.... Maybe we could do a Phoenix Caravan to Albuquerque

I know this rally isn't a part of the Region 11 Rally, but one really cool thing they had when we were there was an "Afterglow" night...they had several balloons at the fairgrounds where the Region Rally was held and you could walk around them & have teathered rides...the lit balloons at night, while hard to photograph were beautiful! I would try to go over & check that out if you want to pay a visit to the Regional Rally.
Unfortunately, with all our travel plans this summer...I don't think I will have any vacation time let to join you guys...waaah! Wish I could...

As you can see (see attached schedule of events) on Sat and Sun night they will have a balloon glow and fireworks right out your front door!
There will be not waiting in a car to get in - they charge $10 for parking and $6 per person to get in, but it will not cost you anything because of your 4 admissions included in the $65 camping fee.
