Ken

mr numeric,

after sifting the above...

all i saw was food...

adult beverages: margi ball(s) w/ refills, ta-kill-ya, belgium beer (10% - 13.5% and large quanities), any beer, wine (preferably with corks, but screw caps if you have to), one bottle (small) of drinking water, and two bottles (small) gatoraid.

i am aware of a small weakness from the california streamer group for bloody mary's (well all things adult beverage), and i'll pack 16 gallons of mix (w/ and w/o pulp) and 4 gallons of russky vodka, just in case.

did i miss anything?

well, i'd add ice, a table and chairs, as were boondocking on site, and a good description of exactly where were at on the fairgrounds for those unexpected deliveries...

Based on the California Streamers Rally, it is never too early to talk about food and drink...not that I would know anything about that.

I've been out of the loop on this thread a bit but taking care of the Ballooon (somehow it seemed to need an extra o) Rally details is on my to-do list for today.

Ken---I really like the idea of a catered evening meal or two. Much easier than eating in a very busy resturant and a bit more like camping, too. Build thefood kitty to match.

my frothy friend,

very kind of you to offer an ice cold barrel of suds... someone w/ greater skills than I should start a poll here for what flavor beer...

personally,

sam adams light in a rather large and bulky keg is killer, but i'd settle for regular coors in a rather large and bulky bauxite keg, no problemo....

as far as food goes.... BBQ burgers (or Boca), one tater tot and massive beverages is camping, but i'm guilty as heck when it comes to having things catered and or delivered...

as always,

kevin

Y'know, Fat Tire comes in little kegs...Luke with the Denver unit usually brings some to the RMVAC...I'll ask him about it, if anyone is interested...personally, I prefer ice cold free beer, but I have been known to pay for it....mike

I have to admit I don't drink beer much - but I do really like Coors - everybody gives me a hard time about it......maybe because its goes down like water to me...

Hamburgers.....what we ought to do one night is maybe organize a big cookout - do a grocery store run and do burgers/chips/tater salid/slaw/dogs/beer all those things that taste so good (not so good for you) and fun to do - we can haul our big (at least somewhat big grill) down.

Another thing that has been done is a big soup dump....every one brings a can of soup and dumps it in a big pot - I know the RMVAC does that, but its been done forever at scout camps.

Kevin---Let's make that 2 kegs. One for you and me and one for the rest. Sound about right for day one?

Lew---Since you have them all, bring them all! (ps. we're a part time resident in Depoe Bay, just above Newport, Oregon.)

Hey Ken,

I do a killer Louisiana shrimp boil and would gladly whip some up. All that's needed is a 30 qt. propane turkey fryer for each 12 people and we'd be good to go. All the rest of the ingredients are available in the grocery store.

I'm sure you could beg/borrow/steal/ a few turkey friers in ABQ.
