Thanks for the clarification on the fact that the BFR will be an official 4CU rally. Terrific!!!

CANNOT wait to see all the Cottonwood folks again! Can't wait to meet all the other folks as well.... new friends I haven't met yet! I'm SURE we'll get along famously....

Will Kevbo be the official greeter again? Can't imagine why he wouldn't be, what with all the $'s to be made... "Dude!"

You see thats why our dues are so high ($1.00) - its because of the big bucks we have to pay Kevin as the official FCU greeter

M&T - you are in Austin - what a great place (or at least it used to be a gazillion years ago when I lived there)........

We don't care much about balloons but the drive out and back and being with new and old friends has us wishing it was next week.

Does anybody know if the electrical problems will directly affect our group?

P.S. It kills me to wish for the end of Summer but I'm really eager for this trip.

I read a thread about electrical problems at the balloon rally.

But we have Airstreams so we can boondock if we have to.

My recollection is that in exchange for a great down near the take off field camping spots we don't get electricity or other hookups, i.e. we boondock! Gail and I are ready, our solar will keep us charged long after our water is empty and our other tanks full!

Someone read the previous posts and tell me if I am wrong.
