Things are looking much better today. The repair on the water line is no longer an issue and Jan's foot is not broken. She is not walking 100%, but should be fine.

We are packing the warm threads and should be at the park tomorrow afternoon.

Milo and Karen will be missed, but D-O-G does come first. Does this mean that Gracie will be the only yellow lab at the rally?

The usual well-intended insults...

Uhm, Gracie is the smallest tricolor lab I've ever seen...looks more like, well, a tricolor terrier with a bad temper...oh, wait, you mean YOUR dog...Glad the water line is ok...VERY glad that Jan's foot isn't broken...does this mean she can kick you with it, again...??? Jan, head shots with Richard are gonna hurt, just not Richard...

Mike - check out the truck stops/auto stores for RainX (could be Rain-X). You put it on the windshield and the water blows off as you drive. Great stuff. There may be other brands, but this is the one I know and use.

Richard - Geez, the stuff Jan does so she gets the extra time off to go to the Rally's is impressive. She's a keener, and a keeper , eh?

That storm that is coming in from the Pacific North West made a bit of a stop here for a couple of hours this morning . You'd of thought it would stay out on the water till it got at least south of Seattle before heading inland.

Well gang, looks like we won't be making it. Karen's still got the flu.

We'll see you all at Dead Horse in Feb.

Life's still a hoot!!!

Barry,
The Rain-X does work, but when yer constantly being passed by semis with a prevailing wind, even the Rain-X fails...
Mike ,
Hope Karen feels better soon...we'll tip few for you...well, we'll tip 'em anyway, but your name will come up and I'll try to think of some appropriate lies to tell about you
We parked in the back of the truck stop about 4:30 ish...had it all to ourselves, but word evidently got out, as we're now surrounded by growling diesels...
Developed another gremlin...keys out of the ignition, and suddenly the dash lights come on, and the 'door unlocked' beeper goes off...it very kindly quit...for awhile, but I'm beginning to feel like I'm in a church parking lot in Hatch, NM Semi-hourly reminders that growling diesels may be preferable

It was a cold windy and wet night at the park. The rain has stopped for now. Things are looking much better for this afternoon.

Travel safe everyone.

We were going to leave this morning but it's still pouring rain in SE Tucson. We'll probably straggle in sometime this afternoon.

Got up to a dead chassis battery...jumped it from the house batteries...the dash lights were on all night, apparently...put the puppy in gear, and then back into park...VOILA!!!
dash lights out...another one of life's little mysteries solved...ok, coffee, then we'll meander over...

We had a wild night here wind gusts had to be around 40 mph then the downpour started. Looking much better for today just cool temps. Yay no leaks either. Anthony and Tamara pulled in around 9pm. See you all soon!
