Even rarer still, we're having a Blue Moon on a New Year's Eve. That won't happen again for another 27 years! We'll be watching because it may be our last!

OH sure, now you've gone and done it.
Mention mooning to this crowd and now someone is just going to have to........
Happy New Years everyone.
Jeez, down 12 bucks already and the weekend is still young. You may be leaving the pink slip for that trailer behind if you aren't careful.....

It looks like we survived the New Year last night. Jan and I bailed at around 1:30 this morning and there were still a bunch of folks at the campfire when we left. People are moving a bit slow this morning, but the pancake breakfast was terrific. Pot luck tonight and more fun. Wish you all could be here!

On our way! Got out of the snow yesterday around 11. New Years in Death Valley. Just saw #2151 -- crossed paths at Death Valley Junction. Not sure if they are headed your way too. Happy New Year to all, we'll be there asap. Martinis anyone?

Mark, Mary...
Happy New Year! Margaret and I really enjoyed the Blue Moon on New Year's Eve... absolutely breathtaking watching it rise above the seguro (sp) cacti!
Greg worked over 4 hours on our new window covering installation yesterday, they look fantastic...
OBTW: Had to call Verizon yesterday to get the MiFi card up and registered -- but works great, thanks for the heads-up on it.
Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow at Picacho...

Well, since only Richard has managed to get a few of pictures up of the happenings at the 4CU New Years get together I'll have to post one from a different forum that I suspect is pretty darned close to what is happening at Picacho - this must be the picture of SOMEONE who just won 12 bucks

We were looking at the moon from Tucson...went to Nimbus Brewery you would have loved it Art. Right next door to the Air Force Base, we even got the Military Discount!
Glad the MiFi is up and running, same thing we had to do. The window covers are in, can't wait to see them.
See all of you tomorrow. Have fun on your hike.

Yesterday Flordemayo and I (with correctly spelled name tag) went to Rooster Cogburns Ostrich Farm and took a crazed ride on a school bus converted to a monster bus. Gave me ideas on new things to do with a 345. Climbed to the saddle of PP this am with half a dozen intrepid masochists. The spectacular White Elephant extravaganza was the topic up and down again this hill. Still have rubber legs. Spending the night at Good Sam's near the NM AZ border. Heading back to Estancia tomorrow. Pictures to follow when I get home. My umbilical disconnected on the road and dragged for a few miles. I have lights but no trailer brakes. Hope to pick up a new one tomorrow

We arrived home safely last night just before dark and want to take this time to thank Louis & Sergio, plus Mr & Mrs Silverback for such a great and well organized rally. Its so good to see old friends again and to make soe new ones as well. A few pictures to share.
#1 - the chow line for pancakes the morning of the new year.
#2 - Bob and Julianne were making pancakes. They've done this before.
#3 - a few of the many who benefited form the folks in pic #2
#4 - a few more
#5 - a shot to the west of the loop we were in showing the natural desert
#6 - the aforementioned loop
#7 - a shot of the lower Picacho Peak summit with Cholla in the foreground
See you all at DeadHorse next month.
Brad
