I stopped by the campground today and visted with the rangers. They are a very nice group and they are expecting us next week. It looks like they will most likely put us in Loop C.

This is going to be fun!

Cool thanks Richard,
Were the loop C gates closed already?
I'll call Mark end of the week to confirm our exact location. My hope is we can get most of us in the back part of Loop C there is a Ramada that would serve as a nice gathering place.

These Peeps will miss this one

Unfortunately, with only 2 days in our weekend, we won't be going to this unrally.
Pics of Peeps in places of importance.
.....and Ken and Linda's Hensley Hitching lesson on their 28 foot 2006 Safari SE/LS. They got it into the hole on the first try!!!

Kevbo: Enjoy this one and thanks for the beer at Cottonwood.

Oh, yeah!! That's Saturn through the Celestron CG11. Tuck Sun would be so good for a big scope!!!

Gary & Susan,

Great pictures of a fine event. The Dead Horse Ranch Rally was the best. That fella and gal running it sure knew how to put on a show.
We will miss you at the April fools Rally, should be a blast.
Joan and I will try to see you two at the micro mini at (almost), Joshua Tree Park South entrance next Saturday. I know Kevbo, sorry we didn't let you know...but there is no feed store out there.
John

Snow-ballin'....

Hello fellow 4CU'er's....

REALLY glad to see that there is such great commentary from the Dead Horse Ranch attendee's on the 2nd 'offical' rally thread. It's really good to see that. If that momentum can be sustained over several rallies, then this unit has a terrific future....

Can't wait for that Balloon Fiesta Rally.... just waitin'.

Sorry that I can't attend the 4/1 event, but hoist a 'cowboy beverage' for me... and a Margarita for Max.... and a 'Patron Silver' for me!!!!

OK, make it 2 PS's for me... heck, I might have to have 1 or 2.... here!!!?!

I know that I won't be able to have nearly the 'campfire' that was exibited at DHR, but then I'll try! Where do I get Eu.... Ew.... Euw.... I mean Eucalyptus around here Kevbo??? Can you deliver a 1/2 cord so I can have a campfire in tandem (or would a full cord be needed?) with you "Peeps"?

Thanks again for the awesome pics, the terrific memories, and the great friends made!!! Memories for a lifetime!

Ciao.

Axel
SilverToy

BTW - STILL! using those fish hooks everyday.... caught ZIP yet... are they jinked? Maybe Max'll have better luck....

From I-10 in Tucson take I-19 South
Exit at Ajo Way (next exit) West
Take Ajo Way west 5 miles to Kinney Rd (McDonads)
Drive North on Kinney Road untill you see campground signs
It is about 7 miles from Ajo Way to the campground,
It is a mile or so past Old Tucson Sudios.....

I know that a few forums members in Tucson must be following this thread. It's not too late to join up with us next weekend. If you can't get your rig over to the area, why not stop by for happy hour on Friday or Pot Luck on Saturday.

Getting ready for the run to Gilbert Ray

After reading all of those posts about silvertoys concern with the GM hitch on his Burbin decided to check our Tahoe. Crawled under and eyeballed. Found some very small rust spots at the end of the welds. Must have been the rain on the run out of Dead Horse as we have no rain here. Put some rust fixing goop on them and it looks like new. Inspected for cracks--none. Now we can finish our job of building up a new tool box for emergency repairs if needed.
We are getting antsy as the big April Fools Rally is almost upon us.
Looking forward to seeing everyone. Did someone say happy hour?
Remember the M Ball!

Mr flycaster,
You are a grand prize!
If we get lost after these directions and map, it will be due to our own lack of attention. Even kevbo can find Gilbert Ray Campground now! (and Possibly even some AS folks from Tucson?)
Don't forget the M Ball...What is the 4CU secret Peeps hand shake?
Lets Rally!
