I need a light switch and a few other goodies. It's a neet place to browse!
Didn't someone from the Dead Horse drop their trailer off on the way home? They should pick it up before the rally and head over....

Kev,
I'll bring my 9mm and go the range with you if you don't mind shooting at paper. We could always bring a picture of an engine block to shoot at. BTW, I am getting my CCW in a few weeks. One of the agents at work is an instructor and has classes at his house....

mr. caster,
i don't know about az, but in california (which is hard to believe) i have an unrestricted CCW. meaning you can carry concealed almost anywhere (few rules, not many. most CCW's come w/ heavy restrictions... sad but true) and it's even good in all the western states (well, all but one).... get that flavor, if available in az...
then buy a different 9mm... like a high capacity glock model 19 (holds 18 rounds) and carry 2 extra clips... now ur sporting 52 rounds. if you can't stopem w/ that, just lay down, play dead...
i think i'm turning into a silver winkie poster dude... is this #700 4 me?
so anyway...
i'm still comitted to my .44... it only holds six rounds, but i carry an extra 12. so w/ 18 rounds, i'm thinking i could stop a whole gang 'o drive buyer uppers... so get one of those too.
i'm liking the southwest more n more. i may buy a house there.

Ca. logic
According to our Penal Code...
A switchblade is a felony.. A concealed handgun can be a felony OR a Misdomeanor.
So carry a pistol instead of a knife. Its safer for you and less penalty in court.

Oh, I thought it was a Misdemeanor, period. Not that I have to worry about it.

Brent -
I modified one of the images that we were looking at a while back for the rally. Brad gets credit for the art work as usual. If you like it we can have it show up on the poryal page (in rotation with others) and link that to the thread or calendar page. It's your rally and your call.....

Brent,
When are you planning to arrive at the camp ground?
We are trying to decide if we will go Thursday after rush hour (we live in N Phoenix) or Friday morning.

Rochard,
We are planning on heading down Thursday. We'll be in before sunset. Do you have any extra signs for marking the loop?
Brent

I have no signs. We do need a way to find the area once we get there. Do you have a loop map you could post?

General Map
This is a good area map #59 is the GILBERT RAY campground..
Pima County Natural Resources, Parks & Recreation
I'll scan a site map tomorrow they don't have one online but I saved one from our trip in November.
We also need a better detailed map to show the best route.. which for you advance planners who can't wait.... From I-10 take I-19 South to Ajo Way (which becomes hwy 86) West to Kinney Road (right) there is a McDonalds at the corner.....
This place is easy to find..it’s just on the edge of town...you'll wonder am I going the right direction when you're heading up Kinney Road.. The last few miles are a little narrow it looks like a roller coater but it is no problem for any size of trailer just obey the speed limit.
More maps and directions to come......

I know the area well. My work takes me to the area alot. I think the caming area is on McCaine or something like that, just north of the Old Tucson Sudios. I have never been into the camp ground, it appears that there are several loops and many sites.

Do any of you plan on arriving Thursday? (we will)
How many Friday?
Any Saturday arrivals?
I suspect most will arrive Friday.....
Friday…'when you arrive…Happy Hour(s)' at the TINCABN
We’ll give awards for the best trailer back-in, no cheating we are watching.
....Saturday....spend some time exploring the Sonoran Desert..
Back at camp...
we'll kick things off in the afternoon with the NCAA FINAL FOUR....
Happy Hour(s) at the TINCABN…..don’t like basketball…
too bad get lost …...
kiddin'
We’ll have music also…
good music...
Bring your dish for the Saturday Southwest Pot Luck (proper duds required)

It's not a hijack. It's a detour
O.K. you FCU Crew. I'm judging the March photo contest and I'm expecting you guys to represent. ( Calif. speak for. Hey guys post pics.)
The only rule is.. Each photo must have an Airstream OR a recognizable Airstream part in it. After that the field is wide open.
I know thats kinda dangerous with guys like AZflycaster in your Crew but I'm taking the risk.
Funny, sick, photoshopped anything goes. Don't forget rally, peeps and M-ball pics.

Harry, I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but Tupac was shot and killed in Las Vegas in 1996. There is no tour!
