I recommend printing little business cards from your computer with a picture of your Airstream or some identifying mark (your forum "handle" or such...) and pass them out to folks you want to keep in touch with! It helps everyone learn names/trailers. I would put name and email at least!

For first timers, be sure and find out what the food protocol is! It is very different at various events. Sometimes I have seen newbies show up and eat and run! Be sure to help clean up or bring something to share!

Another item is to have a calling card, similar to a business card but not for business, made up so you can exchange them when you meet a new friend. Other info besides name and email address or phone could include name of unit, member number and webpage link. Very handy to exchange.

On edit: Dang Caddy, you beat me to it.

mr. bill,

the only thing better than your card, would be perhaps showing the "interior" of your auto, on the reverse side (in full color).

you really have a sweet ride, especially when pulling ur 'stream.

I use printshop to make my cards, quick, easy and you can change them anytime you like. Which I do often.

Would it be advisable for 1st timers to put a sign up on their trailer that says "This is our first rally" or "We're newbies"!?

you can get a full port Y at the hardware store or lowes, in the lawn and garden area. You will get your rally ribbons and program when you register as well as a smiley face stating that you are a first-timmer. Don't hesitate to ask questions there will be people at Perry that are local and can help you with your questions about the area, they will be wearing special badges. We have a local rally this weekend and we will be leaving from there to go to Perry.
