You are on to us - thats one of the participants who's trailer is not towable to come down here - so they are bringing their SOB - that picture is them at a rest stop - and they are bringing a few of their friends to.
I'll be there Thurs early afternoon - I teach a course at a local college, so I be gone from about 4:30 - 9:30 pm - I'll try not to trip over the trash can when I get in, push the wrong button on my truck to make the horn blast or anything like that
Knowing alot of the folks in attendance, I'm sure they'll still be up to greet you when you get back...trying to satisfy those thirsty squawking flamingos!
Have a great rally! We'll be working away on our project at home this weekend, all by ourselves (sniff, sniff, )...the 13+ hours saved by not driving to/from ABQ will be put to good use re-installing windows and possibly getting started on the curbside panel replacement! We're there with you all in spirt though ~
Shari

I was planning on leaving today, but, the garage the promised to have my truck ready today didn't, so I won't. They swear on a barrel of oil they will have it ready first thing in the morning .
I too planned on leaving today but life got in the way. So, the new plan is to start out about 6 A.M. Looking forward to seeing everyone, I hear that it should take 6 hrs which means about 8 for me. Keep a light on for me !

Don't forget you will loose an hour when you cross into New Mexico. It called Daylight Savings Time or something like that. Or maybe you gain an hour...

Richard,
You Arizona types. Mountain Daylight Time is one hour later than Mountain Standard Time. You are the same time as Pacific Daylight now.

Got a surprise call from the garage. Said they got the AC compressor in but not charged yet. Said I could take it now uncharged, or they would charge it first thing in the morning. Opted for taking it tonight so Flordemayo dropped me off and left. You can probably guess the next part. Didn't start There was an unconnected elecric plug that looked like it plugs into the AC compressor. But not knowing what I was doing I did not plug it in lest I screw something up. Resto Rally Or Bust See you as early tomorrow as possible maybe with working AC.
Here are some pictures today from the Vintage Restoration Rally workshop.
Roger and others demoed forming curved panels and buck riviting.
Also enclosed are exterior and interior shots of a couple of nicely restored Airstreams, Uwe's & Ken_J's.

Excellent ! Keep those photos coming. Seems like all I have been able to think about since mid-Thursday is you guys having so much fun and sharing your knowledge and learning much more.

Fun,sun and shining trailers, it does not get any better than that.
Hope you are having a good time.Nice photos keep them comming.
Remember I will be giving you all a test on my trailer at the ABQ balloon rally.
I'm working this weekend and bummed, but appreciate the photos. Right now I bet people are sitting around, drinking wine, playing guitar, and talking story.
It's great to see folks getting together and enjoying themselves.
