Hey Ken,
Signed up, money sent in and reservations made. Annette and I are looking forward to another 4CU Rally. Getting ready to go outside and feed the mosquitos and polish a little more of the Airstream.

Ok, I think Ken should appoint a caravan photographer, whose job it will be to take a lot of pics and post them to this thread!

Boy, do I wish! My trusty Pentax and the MG, what a great dream! Alas, the MG has managed to take exactly one trip this summer so far, and that was directly to the car wash and back. (I'm trying to kill the jinx by packing it with stuff that needs to be delivered to Taos.)

This rally is really shaping up - we just found out that Gallap is going to let us use the El Morro theatre for our wrap up events - pretty cool - the threatre is also going to have Indian Dancers for us which is somewhat rare to see.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.

Last call to sign up - we spent the weekend stuffing the "goodie bags" great stuff with this one - I think the tour guide is worth the price of admission alone -

Jan and I wish we could fit this one into our schedule, but the trip to Gillette took a lot of my vacation and my spending cash. I think everyone is going to have a great time.

BTW, we stayed at the USA RV park on our return trip from Gillette last week and I can't say enough nice things about the place. It's very well maintained, the staff is very helpful and the gift shop is full of Route 66 goodies.

Try the barbecue dinner; it's great.

We, too, hope that everybody taking in the Rt. 66 Rally has a great time...take pictures!

We also ditto Richard's kudos for the USA RV Park in Gllup...they were great when we stayed there last year...

Your killin' me......

I missed the resto rally and planned on this. My tow Vehicle....made for a Rt. 66 rally...is a 1958 Buick. It should have been ready...but the transmission rebuild and delivery is sooooo slow. So, I will be thinking of you guys having fun AGAIN (STILL) and plan for the next time. Have fun!

Thanks all - I'm really excited about this event - as first year rallies go, we have a smaller group which is great because this is a never before done event in that we are joining the NM Route 66 association as well as each towns events that are going on + route 66 beer (ut oh.. ) will be introduced during this rally - so those of you who are with us this year will have an opportunity to set the pace for future route 66 rallies.

So we will be seeing lots and lots of old cars - the museum in Santa Rosa is opening up special for us - as well as other events the town is now planning - Moriority is doing a BBQ cookoff which they hope to make an annual event and there is a private collection of old cars and old toy cars that the owner is going to open up for us - Albuquerque of course has its big Neon event where they close off many blocks for music, old cars and general celebration and Gallop is letting us use the old El Morro theatre for our final meeting and lots of VERY cool door prizes as well as indian dancers - this has turned out to be a very nice event in which we have received some very nice sponsorships and other surprises....

Don't forget to post pictures as often as you can during and after the rally for those of us East Coast folks that are too far away to join in.

What a fun rally with great people...

Every stop we felt so welcome and they did something special for us. It was also fun for all the people to enjoy all the silver at every stop and watch them going from 75 to 55 on the hwy. when they saw Joe with his Caddy pulling his 31' Airstream till they got past Ken.

Thanks to everyone that put this together and Ken for having us be a part of it. A lot of planning went into this rally.

Okay, one more picture. Before and After. Had a great time. Got to see old friends and make some new ones. Good food was had by all and plenty of rain to go around. Great raffle and prizes. Thanks to Ken J. and everyone for their hard work in setting up the Route 66 Motor Tour.
