Fall Rally at Pecatonica Illinois

We’re back for another Fall Rally at Pecatonica, Illinois.
http://www.wcfpd.org/Preserves/PecRiver.cfm. The fall colors and weather should be great this time of year.
The rally dates will be Friday October 9th through Sunday October 11th.
Plan on the customary potluck on Saturday night. Bring your own meat and a dish to pass. Let us know if you’re bringing a salad or desert. We’ll post the menu to avoid duplications.
Hope to see everyone again, and maybe some new faces.

Sue and Tom.

I JUST told Sue to tell you tonight that we looked at the Chinook just this afternoon and it is WRECKED.

Since I last saw it, the stupid used car guys used the CHinook's little tow package to tow a biga** HEAVY pop-up and they drove the tow hitch straight through the back door, breaking the rear end open.

Plus the rest of it (foam and brush painted side panels) would be a total cosmetic nightmare, and the 20R is original, with LOTS of duct tape.

Needless to say, too big of a project, really, for anybody.

The thing about is that I feel so sad that "another one bites the dust."

I am going to keep looking and search for one in a lot better shape.

Chell were you and Gary going to be SOB's, how dare you? You know, you would have to paint it silver or cover it in Aluminum foil. What would LUNA say? Bring you big coffee pot, you know it is fall and we will need something to keep us warm!!!

Dana and I will be ther, probably come in on Thurs and start setting up.

No NO and NO.. no SOB for me.. I've been looking at a little Toyota small truck/moho as a run-about town and to park next to us for Eric to camp in.

I've got a Toyo van, Toyo Tacoma, Toyo Tercel, and Toyo Tundra, plus a box truck.. plus Luna...what's one more?

here is what a NEW one looked like:

IIIIII'LLLLLDRUNK TOOOO DAT. i STILL HAVE SOME cINNAMON AND bUTTERSCOTCH RIGHT. Tom, do you remember the hot chocolate? We will need 2 or 3 large coffee pots, I have one. We can do real cider in two and chocolate in the other and people can mix as they wish. Oh, got peppermint also. Anyone got Kaluah, mud slide or baileys for the coffee? And wood for the fire. If this doesn't put someone to sleep or, good luck.
So far, I think we have about 10 units and 20-25 people; more the merrier. mike

P.S. These are the pint bottlers leftover from the 3 previous Pec get togethers. As one can see, we are real alcoholics. mj

I did find the windows, I had misplaced your name and couldn't fine it, someone needed two of them, so they took a front curved and a front road side window and the rest I gave to a fellow from Oklahoma who I bought a 1957 26 footer from. I'm sorry I didn't get what you needed, to you. My wife had me under a lot of pressure to get rid of some of the airstream parts that I had collected over the years, so I did and then bought three more airstreams. That will teach her.
