Look slke we are gong to have a great grou! There are 22 signed up on the RSVP page ( Airstream Forums - Disco Dead Horse - Can you dig it? ) and I know of 4 more who are supposed to be there:
Janet & Leon from Phx
Buddy & Betsey from ABQ (joined 4CU at New Year's)
Bonnie & Roger from WA
Barry & Donna from ONT
If everybody signed up and these show up, that would be 26 rigs...and chances are, there we be others who make it as well. What a good time will be had by all!

As far as parking goes. Jan and I will try and great everyone as they arrive and suggest the best size spot for your unit. The last site as you go around the loop (closest to the bathrooms) will be where Jan and I are parked. It's the same spot we have used for every DH Rally and it works very well for us.
If anyone is bringing a 34 foot trailer let me know. The spots across from my site are the best for those and I will reserve one for you. I know Eric has a 34 and I will save one for him. Is Anthony bringing his giant this year?

Me and the 4 boys will be there on Saturday, but we will be in the Quail loop. We reserved a spot closest to the rally so we can partake a little. Not that we are being antisocial but with the boys and the grandson in tow things might get a little "Party On" for them. The boys love to fish so we will be doing alot of that. Can't wait to see everyone at the rally.

So you are digging the polyester out of the closet?
I will hold two of the sites across from me. One for Eric and one for you. These sites have a much larger turning area in front of them and should make it a little easier to park.

Babs and I have to cancel this year. I had a stroke last month and have to go through more rehab before I can be cleared to drive. We'll miss you guys, but will be back for a later rally.

Got the trailer repaired (thanks Eric and Terry for your "coaching"). We'll be there. Likely be there Thursday, along with the Miller's.
Really looking forward to another DH. A good weather one at that, should be exciting.

Where have I been?
Geez, I've been missing all the forums action while I bounce from place to place.
Pat~ Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope you're back on the road ASAP.
Anthony~ Gracias me amigo but I picked up at SatDish at CampingWorld, haven't even taken it out of the box yet. DH maybe my first attempt at setting it up.
Roger~ So happy you're headed our way! Uncle Larry was just asking about you yesterday when I spoke to him. Looking foward to catching up with you.
I will be going up Thursday a.m. caravaning with R & J! Currently staying at a park I call "Delliverence" so I'm a tad anxious to move on down da road and hang with the 4CU crew.

We are currently at Lake Pleasant with King O D Road. Gorgeous place, we are really impressed. The four of us are heading to DH on Wednesday. We will spend a night in the power section, then move over in the morning.
Julianne, we did a tour around Cave Creek CG yesterday thinking we might see your trailer there but instead found a fellow from WA State with his Airstream. We suggested he'd be welcome at Cottonwood, and he indicated that he is looking for some Airstream companionship, so hopefully he comes.
See you next week.

good spreading the word. wood packed in the truck, high and dry. it will be really good to get out even it it is only 10 miles round trip. at least we won't have to worry about our tires on this one. we think we found where the peeps from clarkdale might live, seen a shiney thing from the road (not spying or anything).

Yes you are. All of the checks were deposited on Friday.
I have 26 confirmed trailers this year and one maybe since their Airstream is in the shop. We also have at least one attendee who will be in the adjacent campgrounds.
Don't forget we need wood for the fire!
The disco music should be fine as I made some CDs with some classic Disco tunes. If you have a favorite, bring it. The request line is always open.
Here is a taste of the sights and sounds of the disco era:

Rig is almost ready to go. Flushing the water tank this week since it has been sitting a while. Just need to add clothes and drive to DH. Hope the weather holds, it should be a great weekend.
Thanks for the parking courtesy. It certainly makes it easier.
